Markers: How to Recognize Very Young Children Who May Have Had a Near-Death Experience
Although the near-death phenomenon is usually tossed aside by parents as so much nonsense, there’s no denying the aftereffects, which can include changes in brain patterning and nerve response, as well as having a more abstract concept of the world and of God. This tends to set them apart from siblings and other kids. Child experiencers are unable to “connect the dots” between their otherworldly episode and why they feel as they do. It’s as if they bond to the Other Side, not this one. Learning about near-death experiences and what is typical for children can be a lifesaver not only for families, but for the kids themselves. There are markers, general guidelines, to use that may prove helpful in identifying and working with such children.

  1. I highly question that someone can recall birth experiences, I was not even conscious of myself until I was about 4 or 5 yet someone says they can remember when they were born and even before that, I highly doubt this. By the way how can you make sense of an NDE as a fetus or a baby if you’ve never even lived before? That doesn’t make any sense.

  2. @4.5 years old I had mine but crossing over or other side memories are in the void but I fit so much in respect to PMH Atwaters description of children with NDEs. With the plasma balls in the photos, as an adult in my 30s then, I had a very ill time when one I observed above my face when I awoke.
