  1. The fact that John's own sister tried to kill herself twice over having to live with the fact that her brother destroyed so many lives in a heinously cruel and remorseless way speaks volumes about how it affected her. She continues to live with heart break, deep regret and sorrow for her brother's victims and families. The victims included not only those he tortured and killed but the families of his victims that were left behind as well as the unimaginable shock and horror his own family continues to live with in the aftermath. It's heart breaking to watch this even if you weren't associated with what happened in any way.

  2. It’s so true you can’t choose the family your born into. I’ve lost my brother too a crime he’s committed and it’s affected my mom my relationship with my Dad and my niece and nephew. My family is so deeply hurt by what he’s done. There are days I wish he had never been born. I feel so torn up by saying that.

  3. The thing about Antonucci’s experience, and Gacy saying “you’re the only one that got out of the cuffs”: Supposedly he had only killed 2 people by the time in 75 that Antonucci worked for him. John Butkovich was killed a few weeks after that incident, and Butkovich is generally assumed to be Gacy’s 3rd victim. His first victim was stabbed, no handcuff trick involved. So either someone’s timeline is skewed, or Gacy killed more people than we know about between Jan 72 and July 75.

  4. I just don’t think it’s the responsibility of the killers family members to reach out. It was not their doings in anyway, unless they knew about it, but I just don’t think the family members should feel guilty or feel they NEED to reach out and apoLogize for actions of someone else when it wasn’t their fault

  5. I Wish that I could say to Karen is that, don't blame your self 4 what your brother did. You don't know on what goes on in the mind of another person, It's not what you did, it's what your brother did. I'm very that you had to go through all that, I can't imagine. It hurts me to see you blaming your self 4 what your brother did.

  6. She seems like a nice lady but how much is she getting paid to do this show ? I found out she has threw the years made the rounds on day time talk shows & was a part of 3 other films all about her brother. She has made bank off of her brother. So not a really nice person after all this is a lot like blood money . I also learned she just passed away this summer, my condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.

  7. It seems like it more so closure for john gacys sister and niece rather than the family of the victim. The family of the victim shed no tears and “shame” was constantly mentioned on the John gacys family’s side. I think the victims sister knows that. I wonder how she perceives that.

  8. This woman is extremely brave as many serial killers familys go into hiding and change names. Although she's married. People blame the family although most families are totally innocent. Not so innocent the justice system. If Gacy had served a longer sentence these murders may have been prevented. Also what happened to his monitoring during parole when he got out of prison so early??

  9. The families of serial killers didnt know what their family members were doing. Serial killers families didnt commit these crimes. Why should they be nailed to the cross for their family members crimes. It's understandable to show your sorrow to the victims families but it's not the serial killer families burden to bear.
