Founded in 1981, the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) is a membership-based non-profit organization. It was founded by Bruce Greyson, MD, Raymond Moody, MD, Kenneth Ring, PhD, Michael Sabom, MD, and John Audette, MS, pioneers in near-death experience (NDE) research. IANDS is dedicated to NDE education, support and research.

IANDS engages in numerous activities including conferences, affiliated groups, special initiatives, quarterly “Vital Signs” magazine, and other publications, including “The Self Does Not Die” and the scholarly, peer-reviewed Journal of Near-Death Studies.   1. it is brilliant you have seminars like this as many have gone through major changes; the only contribution i can make is when i was told by Doctors that they dont know how long i had….i had this experience of being totally detached…it lasted for only a second but it was profound……i didnt leave my body but this had a lasting impression and talking to nurses and those that have had NDE – all are different and yet the knowledge they have gained is truly personal and life changing
