When we die we will go to the communities that are like ourselves where we will feel the most comfortable and prepared ourselves for. Even those who felt the most comfortable here being alone likewise will be alone in the afterlife. Serving others is the key to being happy here as well as after we die. We will reap what we sow.

Whatever you did not pass here, you will be sent back until you graduate. Then, I don't know. Maybe those that graduated are given a choice on where they will be working so to speak. Paradise is where you go to recuperate after death.
