Hi what do you mean when you say some souls are going through their own atonement? What does that look like or is it more like they have a life review and experience their own actions? My cousin committed suicide, my husband (who is spiritually gifted) said she her spirit wasn't there because she was going through a process with her mother's assistance, but her father came on the other side of the veil to help with the first service. I always wander what kind of process is it, how long does it take them,.is it scary…

When I was sick and nearly dying I found myself every afternoon for a week in a black void. I was just awareness. No concept of anything but oneness. Just bliss, joy. I was aware of I can't say I wanted to be in that state forever as that would indicate I was aware of the opposite. I was wrapped up in bliss and so much love. Nothing else existed. This lasted for about a week. I felt like I was cockiness in this bliss in the void. Felt like heaven. Just responding to Jeff's question about the black void.
Jody do you sense more spirits near bodies of water?
Wow. I currently read the Bible and Emanuel Swedenborg’s work, which I believe is inspired. This is SO spot on to what he says about the spirit world and Jesus. It’s confirmation for me actually as (if you believe church dogma) it’s easy to lose the fact that that Bible is more about correspondences than literal history (though that is there too). I recommend your more spiritual listeners check out the Swedenborg Foundations channel ‘off the left eye’ if they, like me, feel the truth of all this, but can’t quite line it up with their particular faith. Jeff, great work! I’m so glad I found you.
This is one very sick woman
I'm wondering how we should understand Jesus as a spiritual being and His role. Many NDErs seem to rejoice at meeting Him and yet say little about His role or place in things – and perhaps how that differs (if at all) from the Christian view.

I am so fortunate to be able to say that I got to correspond with Jody. She is truly on of the most caring and non judgemental people I have shared with. She would never roll out the smoke and mirrors to try and fool someone. Her sincerity is so effortless for her, as if it is sewn right into her soul. It doesnt surprise me at all that Jesus would choose her and bestow her with a gift of second sight. I hope everyone is lucky enough to have a friend or guide like her in their life. Her humility and caring is genuine and I consider myself blessed that I was able to share my experiences with her. She doesn't consider herself a field representative for Jesus and for me that makes her much more approachable. Imagine if all of his self proclaimed representatives were that way. So many have a mouth full of scripture and a heart full of hate. I think her example will draw many from the dark into the light even though she isnt trying to hard sell religion to anyone. She is a gem.
