What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is usually a profound, lifetime modifying, intensely psychological experience that usually occurs all through a medical crisis and has common properties and aftereffects. It is not a desire, hallucination, or mental sickness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to discover who will have an NDE. They happen to folks of all ages, religions, socio-financial teams, cultures, academic backgrounds, and perception programs. They happen under a assortment of conditions these kinds of as incidents, near-drownings, health problems, battle, surgical methods, and childbirth. Next an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) usually display screen some common aftereffects. Research has recognized a established of frequent NDE attributes and long-term aftereffects. 1. Sorry to disappoint, I saw the Ghost in the room many times. My wife then went into hospital not knowing what I had seen. Two weeks before she died she told me there were figures standing and the end of her bed. I realised I had not seen them. They followed her to the hospital. Her experience, what about me .?

  2. Being an experiencer of an NDE, a couple of visions and miraculous healing, for whatever mercy the Lord has for me. Trust me I did not deserve it. Please when people take the leap of faith to share this life-changing event, listen to their experience with an open mind and heart. It is very hard for experiencers to communicate what just happened to them because there is no basis for them to compare the event to. What they felt has no comparison or description except saying it was an indescribable feeling of love and joy. It ends up making the experiencer lonely and sometimes can ruin relationships because of disbelief or the NDE experience changing their personality and views on many subjects including life and death. Some go into depression, some turn in the wrong direction looking for answers, this is when the forces of dark will make one last attempt at them to drag them to a new age direction or another path leading away from our Lord. I had a family member who was a Baptist preacher that I confided in and without a doubt, he did not believe what I told him which for me was very disappointing, to say the least. I can not tell you anything more than, we are not our flesh, Jesus is very much real and his love for us is indescribable. I have seen much and was given what I needed which was a new personality, a sensitivity to the emotions of others, and the ability to love others that I never had or felt. Doctors do the work that our Lord directs their hand to do. Our lives were written in the book of life long before we arrived here and our stories have already occurred. Your free will choice is to follow our Savior or not, everything else in my opinion has already been written. The Bible is the perfect WORD of God that will make that understanding much easier. May God Bless each and everyone of you. IANDS is a good place for those who have experienced this and helped me greatly when I had no one around me that had experienced anything like this. It's a fellowship, that is non-judgemental and people that understand what you are feeling and can relate where even family member cannot. It's a gift not a curse, though sometimes you might think otherwise, but let me ask you this … what is a better gift than no longer fearing death and knowing that God is real? It warms my heart to see people who love God in just faith alone, how strong and wonderful is that?

  3. The phenomenology nonsense is not helpful. Logic juggling in order to detach from the underlying reality doesn't really help people with anything, because the inherent meaning of language is to communicate on the underlying reality. Let's instead take a pragmatic approach: truths are statements that are generalizable between humans, so as to, by cultural communication, help them improve their performance individually. Just using "true" and "false" indiscriminately is an indication of a lack of insight on how to make the logic systems compute. Try some probabilities instead!

  4. 4:31 – the best attitude of modern day medicine, and science, might just be to say that we don't know how to contextualize it yet – ie. we don't have the tools to determine whether it's something like a valid Jungian experience, valid veridical experience, etc.. What I'm looking forward to, for as polite as Martin Fischer has been to the subjective experience, is I'd like to at least see these taken in a materialism-agnostic direction – something along the lines of what Ryan just said which effectively them saying 'We can't slot this so, in the Hippocratic spirit, we'll leave it alone until we have something more solid to stand on'. I'm not even sure Susan Blackmore is still convinced by CO2.

  5. The human body is a machine, a system. Medicine and those trained in its practice deal with the body as system and machine. Whether NDEs are epiphenomena of the brain or are phenomena related to but ultimately independent of the body and brain is not for medicine to determine. Medicine has not the tools necessary to make that determination.
