WOW you know what, I had this bitter ball of resentment in my gut in my 20s about something a bully did to me, and I prayed to God for guidance – I had a dream that night that she was being bullied and harassed, and it reminded me that in fact her life was even rougher than mine. In my dream I chased her bullies away and told her not to worry about them anymore. That bitterness lifted after that. In fact she added me on Facebook shortly after that, and normally I'd be like "f off!" but then I decided to accept it and let her know directly that I hope things are genuinely going well for her. Very similar healing like yours, you realize the people that wronged you were hurting and your anger turns to sympathy and you hope they're doing okay so they don't have to feel that way anymore. The only thing I'm still upset about is the other people that were involved might still be feeling hurt and confused, I hope they somehow got closure as well.
