My goodness, that is a lot of passings, and in one year no less. I'm so sorry. But if there's one thing I know from all my work in this field, it's that they want you to move on and not feel guilty about it. There's a reason they all passed in the same year, a reason you experienced such devastating loss. You have the choice to let it stop you from living too, or to let it motivate you to live life to the fullest. I hope, as I'm sure they do, that you'll choose the latter. Bless you, Bob

I lost my little 13-year-old daughter in 1994 and still miss her dreadfully. I have lost my Mother and two sisters as well, but the loss of my daughter wounded my soul and I still haven't processed the grief completely, although she has contacted me in my dreams and through a medium, but missing her goes on daily. She was my friend.
Hey Taunya, losing a child is certainly one of the most difficult challenges a human can endure. Even the wonderful gifts of spirit contact through dreams and mediums have their limitations. Thank you Bob. I have seen my daughter in my dreams and astral projected with her. We flew above the freeway and I thought I was going to hit a Goodyear blimp but went right through it. That has only happened once though. Normally I don't see her.I think she is busy with her new situation.
I've investigated spirit since 1999, and in all the readings I've witnessed, all people in spirit have forgiven. It's helpful to understand that when we forgive, we release ourselves from the clutches of the past. This is true in the spirit world too. So if your brother would have hugged you and said those things, he's doing the same from the spiritual realm. Let your memories of how you treated him motivate you to treat other people with love and respect, and he'll be proud of you for that.
I never had much success forgiving directly (during meditation) because the whole time I’m focusing on the “bad” thing,” which just made me feel worse. Instead I learned to let go of my “ego attachment” to the emotional pain. Eventually I reached a more broad view of existence, with the understanding that people have been doing mindless things to each other since time immemorial, and it’s a waste of spiritual energy focusing on this negativity. At that point, forgiveness becomes irrelevant.
I can see your point. From my view I see 'good' and 'bad' things as equally and uniquely valuable information. Through the process of forgiveness I can receive the value, be a more understanding, more loving and more whole person because of it and let the rest go. It works for me. Others mileage may vary.
