  1. While I don’t necessarily believe the stories presented since the series began years ago, they’re are to a certain degree entertaining. I put more stock into the series My Ghost Story. Maybe due to the fact that this show (celeb ghost story) features celebrities.

  2. I was just doing some research on this widdecombe town and came across this page that explained how widdecombe is a wonderful thriving community and that they understand how the US has portrayed their town to be a ghost town. They reassured in their response (if you like the link, ask I be happy to give it) that their town is thriving as was never a ghost town basically. Which makes sense because here in the west well, everyone knows how exaggerated this country is with everything. And let’s not forget that these are people who act in films. So it makes sense why Daniel had to creep us all out in order to sell for the show. Now granted, he may have had a “scary experience” of some sort but I take it with a grain of salt with what most of these celebrities say on a show.

  3. Can’t believe Daniel stern has been to the moors! I’m a big fan and it’s not too far from me. There are many many many ghost stories from all over the moors. Love it there and lots of beauty spots

  4. Widecombe-in-the-Moor in Dartmoor is beautiful, I went camping a lot in Devon and I can safely say it was nothing like what the actor experienced.
The only thing that did happen was my tent being ransacked by a load of seagulls after just going to Morrisons and these twin boys trying to save my food by frantically waving their arms around.

  5. I'm 63 Boston born and have lived many places, east coast west coast, I've only heard of one ghost story, my aunt Betty said she saw my father right after he died in 1999, but I've never seen or felt any sensation of someone watching me.

  6. I get that they're entertainers, but bald faced lying is unnecessary. I can't look them all up, but Leech Lake had no college kid murders, Widdecombe is a nice normal place. Unless there was flat out demon interference, they're just lying.

That story about the Iroquois theater was pretty good though, even if the teller is culturally ignorant to think a woman of that era would relish a play about witchcraft & how we all should celebrate the evil inside us (I never saw that play, but I read the book).

  7. I knew people who worked at centennial hall at the university of arizona. The stage manager during the time I was in college claimed to see a bloody football player with what appeared to be a lawn mower blade stuck in his skull. An office worker would periodically hear piano playing and a woman singing and sometimes a very chatting and laughing woman. Probably the same person. The crazy thing is the piano was clear across the theater in the vestibule behind closed doors. One time curiosity got the better of her so she went to investigate. As soon as she opened the door the playing and singing stopped. She high tailed out of there.
