Why do some of us never be contacted by any family members? I ask for this all of the time, talk to them all of the time but it never happens. Nobody seems to want to address this. I'd sure like to hear your take on this.

OMG my grandfather visited me when I was 12 after he died. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in my room. I know it wasn’t a dream. He spoke to me and I heard him. I also was a hospice nurse and was so fascinated by what happens at time when people are getting ready to leave their body.

@5:57 Dr. Lennox stated we just remove the blinders to our multidimensional consciousness. This sounds very similar to the "veil" blocking our memory of who we were before birth.

Since my NDE I can wake up in a dream and change it,or il look around my bedroom for instance and see a door that shouldn’t be there and know I’m in a dream ,as soon as I start to fall asleep I start dreaming so can be in both places at once ,hubby is jealous because he says it’s like free Netflix x

My Old dog, and J, sat on the Other side, and she was instruction Me whit lot`s of information abauot death, and What Will happend.
(Hope you Can read my english, – J am from Denmark). My Old dog was the talking, and J was lisent to her.
J dont remember all her talk, but J remember she was looking Me straigt in my face and said: Henriette you have to let Me go.
At that time she was old and sick, and jeg new J must get a time and put her to sleep. It was very difficult for Me, but J new it was time.

When you're dreaming, you're astral travelling. You lucid dream when you're conscious while astral travelling.
I had a dream in 2011 about my cousin being in labor. When I contacted her the next day, she was in labor and had her baby. What was odd was I was in the middle of my busy season closing out the school year as a teacher. I hadn’t been in contact with her or even thought about her for a couple of weeks. I have had a few of these type of future-telling dreams.
I have dreams of people I don’t know, and places I have never been. I thought that was normal.

I mostly flied in my dreams in childhood, it hasn't happened in years. His interpretation of flying in dreams definitely doesn't fit. I didn't have all those emotions yet.
It felt so real that I remember jumping off a bench fully expecting to take off. My interpretation is that I was flying while my body was asleep and remembered the feeling.
Not everything has to have a double meaning, some dreams are literal.
Another opinion of his that nightmares are good and something needs our attention is also questionable. As a psychologist, he explains everything from Freudian perspective. Not everything fits in there.
Almost all dreams I ever had have been nightmares since I remember myself. Mostly being lost in labyrinths. Sometimes flood. Some others. I suspect that I drowned in one of my past lives because in one dream I saw myself floating over a flooded area after a huge wave came. It's not something you need to pay attention to in your current life.
Anyway, my point is some dreams are memories, they could be memories of traveling in our astral bodies or from other lives, among others. Freudian digging into double meanings is not only unhelpful here but simply wrong.
I personally would not ask a psychologist about meaning of dreams because their interpretation is biased and limited to the field they studied and doesn't consider any other options.
I also feel that I would be able to enjoy his lecture better if his manner was calmer. For me, it is draining because of the screaming fits.

I lost my mum last February I was so close with mum I spent everyday with her a few months after I lost my mum I was obviously badly grieving I still am I had a dream which felt extremely real all of a sudden I was standing in front of the sea barefoot the sky was like an orange/ red colour it was beautiful iv never felt the way I felt in this “dream “ i felt unconditional love peace iv never felt so much peace around me or within me there was a Nan in my dream who I am positive was Jesus i loved him so much & I could feel so much love from him we spoke for a while & we laughed tho I cannot remember what we said or laughed about I just felt so much happiness in the sea there was these stepping stones that curved out to the left then to the right then left again now I’m really scared if deep water always had a fear & these stones went quite far out in the sea then I walked on the stones I walked out & came back the stones did not move it was as iv they were cemented to the sea & I had no fear what so ever & as I came back I said to who I’m sure was Jesus I said I can’t believe I just done that I was really happy with myself & he said see what u can do when u put ur mind to it then I woke up in my bed I know this could have been a dream iv just never felt anything like that in my entire life the love I felt within me ‘ for everything around me the peace the joy the happiness it was just incredible!!
Hi Dr. Lennox. I just saw you a little while back on another podcast.. .Can't think of his name, but it's the " woo-hoo" guy.. he had just lost one of the twins at birth.
So sad.
Anyway I had a dream ..very long and detailed. But the one part that shook me to my core was, a creepy old jester type mischievous fella came up through my mattress and reached his right arm up and started tickling my ribs.. the freaky part was I felt it ! I woke up jumping up and pushing the arm away.. And although he wasn't there when I came to struggling to eat away from him in my bed.. I did literally feel it..I looked over at my wife to see if it was her.. I'm 100% sure I didn't just dream I felt it.. I felt him..what can you say about this dream..
I can tell you for certain that there is true darkness in some sleep paralysis episodes. The worst ones for me are when they occur in my dreamstate, and I go through a cycle of false awakenings. I call out to God to make them end and several times I've seen an angel with a sword come down and the episode ends.
I've been having very pleasant experiences with sleep paralisis, there is this being who has been visiting me for te last 8-10 years wants to take me with him or her to show me things and i really need to speak to someone about it.
I usually enjoy your guests. I can’t get passed his voice. He seems to be yelling, even when he is not. Almost as if he is trying to convince himself of what he is saying. So annoying. Oh well, they all can’t be great.

Very excellent guest. I have been visited by deceased loved ones in dreams. and it is a very different quality of dream from the usual daily grind kind of dream. Possibly the most memorable was a dear friend who passed in 2013. I dreamt that she just came and hugged me, very sweetly. No surroundings – just the two of us. She didn't speak. I asker her, What's up? But she didn't answer. Then I woke up. A day later, a huge cataclysmic event for me emotionally took place – completely out of the blue. I am sure she was comforting me for what she knew was about to come and hit me like a freight train.

I used to sleep walk ALL THE TIME when I was younger. It was scary for me at times. I remember coming out of it one time in the middle of it in front of my mother and I was crying and scared for some reason. Another time I actually fell back into a sleep state while being walked home by my grandfather. When he tried to leave me at my house, I started screaming and crying uncontrollably for him to not leave me and I was bracing myself on a chair as if I was needing something to steady me. I've heard through the years like children that experience trauma early in their lives have these kind of experiences. I've suffered from sleep paralysis as well. Lucky me, right?? I always felt there was evil in the room with me and would wake myself up by saying; "In the name of Jesus Christ!", out loud. I've done since being with my husband and he reiterated what I was saying in my dream state. I find his opinion on the subject if SP interesting. I do know that a lot of the fear comes from not being able to move. Being held down was a familiar feeling as a child when bad things were about to happen or were happening already, so I always wondered if that had something to do with it.
