Gober graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University, where by he wrote an award-profitable thesis on Daniel Kahneman’s Nobel Prize–winning “Prospect Theory” and was elected a captain of Princeton’s Division I tennis team.

I'm of the view that everything has consciousness. The idea that there are people without souls just sounds unreal to me. All is one, I feel.
If you’re wondering whether to listen to Mark’s podcast ‘Where is My Mind’ – I urge you do it. It will not disappoint. The scientific and evidence based approach to what is mostly regarded as a ‘woo woo’ subject by the mainstream, is exactly what is needed.
I have binge-listened to the whole season whilst working this week and wow. My mind is blown and have so much respect and admiration for scholars and scientist putting their neck and careers on the line to date to explore this new frontiers of knowledge. We need more of this, so that we can truly propel the ‘ascension’. Thank you Mark and Jeff also for inviting him on your show.

At 9:00 there is discussion about souless beings. In fact all biological entities are lower level telors; specifically lower than the human telor. We are secondary telors, with our primary telor residing in and staying in Ultimate Reality. This was all described in Christopher Langan's Cognitive Theoretic Model of the Universe (CTMU) back in the late 80's. The “global operator-descriptor” or G.O.D., so called because it is a global identification operator which distributes itself over reality as a universal syntax or descriptor in terms of which it identifies reality both directly and through secondary and tertiary id-operators. I encourage Mark Gober to review the CTMU, because it corroborates his conclusions and expands greatly on it, before writing his next book. I would love to know where Mark gathered his intel if not from the CTMU papers.
I think the term Dolores Cannon used to describe those people who appear in your story but are not at all significant to it as 'backfill' people so filling in the gaps so to speak.
I was sexually abused as a child and as a consequence of needing to live with my abuser l learned to dissociate and wake in the morning with no memory of the abuse. I didn't know l could do this until my mother came to visit me as an adult in my thirties, at the request of anither sibling, and asked me if l had been abused opened the floodgates. As l recovered memories l became aware l still did this during stressful events, particularly when visiting family. At first l found this deeply disturbing but l soon became very grateful that my soul was able to protect me that way so l could stay sane and that the gift it gave me was the ability to communicate with my guardian spirit, have a conscious out of body experience of blissful union with cosmic consciousness in front of witnesses that they told me beforehand they would give me. This ended the dissociation at my request and left me afterwards with psychic abilities greater than the average person, and most importantly, with no fear of death and a deep trust that our life has meaning and that we are loved.
I enjoyed your guest's well informed, intelligent, humble and balanced reporting of this broad field of phenomena.
I would just like to give a different interpretation for the Sumerian story from which came the slave race theory. I read it and it is actually just an account of an uprising of the indigenous people who were employed to work in the fields as part of their training in the priesthood. The first recorded account of a formation of a union. All they were asking for is a paid day off and the hope that they could rise in station to the higher echelons and live with the gods like the Enki high priest.

Thank you, Jeff and Mark. I, too, went down the agnostic path for about 5 years because a paranormal experience I had was so negative and overwhelming (tricksters?). Thank goodness, I eventually shook myself out of it, in thanks because of the overwhelmingly good experiences I had. I enjoyed this interview so much!
I want to add that for several years now, I have believed that consciousness is a universal stream and our brains are receivers and transmitters. Also, that some people have more powerful antennae!

To become more conscious, 3D awareness may need to understand the greater depth of consciousness's independence from the brain. IOWs the brain's 'S'elf awareness may also be an emergent property of brain's self reflective thinking neurons and likewise the feeling self/soul may be an emergent property of emoting neurotransmitters.
They, like the brainbody's sense data, may be filters for a selfless boundaryless consciousness experiencing life as a human here, whilst remaining in the background, a consciousness too vast for a h.sapien brain to comprehend ….yet.

Be very careful what words you hear and simply believe without thought. Manipulation and brainwashing can be incredibly subtle.
49:25 "We know certain things about NEWTONIAN Physics, which is like (…) you drop an apple, it falls down."
That is not Newtonian Physics, that is simply a fact. An apple dropped will fall to the ground. Newton had a THEORY about why/how that happens.
Think about what he is implying you BELIEVE without question.
What we KNOW is that an apple falls. We don't know why it falls. Yeah, we have theories. Newton had theories.
Just because you know that an apple falls to the ground doesn't mean that you embrace Newtonian Physics theories. Or does it? He is very subtly telling you that if you know an apple falls, you also know that Newton's theory of gravity is also a fact.

Hey Jeff, I am truly in awe of your podcasts, they are so fascinating. There is so much I would love to know! For example, are there children and babies on the other side? Do we eat? Do we engage in any fun stuff like playing instruments or art? ( I would miss that I think?) I have people that I really love here on earth, I hope they are there when I leave this earthly realm.
I have watched numerous interviews, mostly here, and read extensively on the subject of NDE and the becoming aware of how everything and everyone are connected and part of each other. This man explaining what consciousness is and how it and your physical brain create the mind gave me that aha feelings you get when you hear something and know instinctively that it's true . It's almost like a repressed memory experience for me. Suddenly it clicked and made perfect sense to me.
17:26 yeah no DMT for me man. It seems logical that it could do some permanent damage and it's definitely not going to be the same as a spiritual experience. The mind is designed for spiritual experiences…it's not designed for chemicals that artificially turn things off. I remember Dr. Mary Neal, a spinal surgeon who has had an NDE, wrote in her book that things like DMT or neurotransmitters are toxic to the nervous system in large amounts so yeah….not me lol 🙂
