Dr. Yvonne Kason MD, MEd, CCFP, FCFP, is the President and Co-Founder of Spiritual Awakenings Intercontinental and the Earlier-President of IANDS (2019-2020). Dr. Kason is the individual who in 1994 initial coined the phrase “Spiritually Transformative Experiences” or “STEs”. She is also the Group-Leader and Co-Founder of Toronto Awakenings Sharing Team.

Dr. Kason has had 5 Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), 2 in her childhood and 3 in her adult life, as nicely as several Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STEs) of lots of varieties. Dr. Kason is a retired family physician and MD-psychotherapist, previously on school at the University of Toronto, and an internationally renowned health-related qualified on NDEs, Kundalini Awakening, and other STEs.

In 1990, Dr. Kason was the first Canadian health-related doctor to focus her health care apply in the research and counseling of patients with assorted forms of STEs. She has above 40 years’ experience counseling STE Experiencers. She co-established the Kundalini Research Community in 1990, was the Chair of the Kundalini Research Network’s Questionnaire research project, benefits posted in Discover, July 2020. She co-launched the Spirituality in Well being-Care Community in 2000.

Dr. Kason has 6 printed publications, her most recent, Soul Classes from the Light: How Spiritually Transformative Experiences Altered My Life (December 2022) and Touched by the Light: Discovering Spiritually Transformative Experiences (2019). She has designed hundreds of expert shows, has supplied scores of media interviews, and is in desire as a keynote speaker.
