Can I please get a prayers. I get very strong depressions and have other health issues w/ pain and fatigue, even when not depressed. My relationship is likely finished, which I knew before the depression hit. I find it hard to fathom how I will make it on my own. I'm a lifelong believer, and my trust in salvation and heaven is strong. My faith for circumstances could be stronger. We are encouraged to not fear and I lean on these scriptures, but I admit to being very afraid at times.
Thank you doctor for all that you do! Having mental illness is so hard for anyone but especially for those who walk in faith. My mom has been through lots in her life (not mental health wise) but has always been a believer and I grew up in a Christian home so when I came to her trying to describe my horrible anxiety to someone who has never had to struggle with that particular thing she told me about the bible verse which says not to be anxious about anything but to give all your worries to God because he cares for us. And that the devil tries to put worries in your head but you can control your thoughts. Needless to say that didn't help so she didn't understand when I went on medication for years. But the good news is that God can heal anything including mental illness. If you go through it though remember there is a purpose to your pain but God also sees our suffering and wants to help us. He is close to the brokenhearted it says. And I never actually fully believed that he uses what the devil meant for evil for our good but it is very true
I love Jesus! He came to me years ago. He said Ellen, come to me. His arms were outstretched. He opened up the clouds that he was standing on top of! I love that. He loves us so much! I will never understand how he loves me.
A lot of what is mislabeled as mental illness is in truth the results of demonic influence and spiritual attacks. Further still, a lot of depression (not all, but a lot) is a morbid obsession with your "self". Me me me. I broke free from a long depression by serving others. Open doors for strangers, be kind where you can. You may see your depression melt away in no time at all. Before you make excuses why you are the exception to this, realize it's that very self-centered thinking that is at the core of your problems. It's not about YOU. Realize that Satan's path is all about YOU being the center of it all. The truth of God is that HE is the center of it all. You must decrease. He must increase. Let Him fill your life so fully that there's no room for Satan, demons, mental illness or suffering.
How can anyone believe a myth that was concocted 300 years after some fairy tale? Sorry, but that is the truth!!
Many people solely base their Salvation on what Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." But Jesus was not finished speaking yet. Later after He rose from the dead and just before He ascended into heaven He said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 (Paul's baptism). Peter said in Acts 4:12,"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED." Paul said in Colossians 3:17,"And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by HIM." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10,"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwells ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And you are COMPLETE in him, which is the head of all principality and power." Also verse 12, "BURIED with him in BAPTISM, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead."
The book of Acts is the most important book in the New Testament because all of it is what Jesus and his disciples said what we must do to be Saved, which is what Jesus meant in John 3:3-7, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND the of Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water in Jesus name – which is for the Remission of Sins (Acts 2:38). Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost – which is addressed in Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:2-5 is a good example.

I experienced the overflowing Love of Christ on April 22, 1973, when I surrendered and committed my life to Christ Jesus, I was a heroin/cocaine addict and Jesus healed me completely, and today I am serving Him humbly and obeying His Holy Words, and Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I was in bed asleep and started choking, it may have been apnea I don't know, I was terrified and in fear, I called out to Jesus 3 times and it stopped instantly, I lay there for a minute then opened my eyes and being grateful, but then at the end of the bed a man was sitting there, I could just see his face around his eyes and cheeks but not his mouth, I looked away then looked back and he was still there, then my mobile phone next to the bed lit up and I could see his face and it was an olive colour, his eyes looked down at the phone being lit up and then I fell asleep Who else could it be, I called on Jesus to save me then this man is sitting in my dark lit room on my side of the bed but near the end of it. Jesus is real. In the bible, he said "If you abide in me I will abide in you"
Studies prove there is no chemical imbalance. Maybe it’s Satan actually affecting our minds?

Anyone who says that they’ve seen Christ is a liar. Scripture is clear on when we will see Him again and if people saw Him they’d fall flat on their faces standing before him. God could care less about what these liars try to sell. They NEVER mention the gospel in their books or messages. Just a load of lies
People claim these experiences. Little children are brutally raped and murdered. Nobody there to help them. I guess God was busy saying ‘hello Bob’ in church.
Is the over reaction unclean spiritual provocation or emotional baggage. After all because Jesus gave every newborn believer the Holy spirit we now have the helmet of salvation at our disposal. To protect our thought life. Seems reasonable the enemy ( Satan) comes to steal. Kill. Destroy. The primary battlefield is our mind. Right ?
