Westly, I think the reason why this nothingness felt so cold and unfamiliar (or creepy) is because your subconscious mind knows your soul and consciously you're not aware of this. Infact, ALL living things have a soul and that soul is infinite. Like God, our soul has always existed (your mind too). Only in this world our physical body is created from birth and ends in death. This is why you had this feeling and at such a young age, when your mind was "still new" of adjusting to this physical body and world. This is why you've probably noticed it's harder to get this same (or close to it) nothingness feeling like you did at such a young age.

I am 66 years old, and I was never allowed outside alone after 8;00 pm. Nor were my neighborhood friends.My children and their friends weren’t allowed out alone in the dark. I don’t know where you grew up, but nine and 10 years olds should not be allowed outside alone after dark. I am thankful you were not hurt and grew up ok.
I’ve had several moments like these…even after having a blessed experience with Jesus. On one coin, it’s easy to believe there has to be more, but the other side of that same coin, it can sometimes be just as easy to believe there could be nothing. I feed my anxiety whenever I entertain thoughts of possible nothingness. It becomes overwhelming, and fear takes the lead. How can that be a positive outcome? Who wants to live with that? I don’t know everything, but what I do know is it feels right to believe there’s more. It gives me peace. I need that. I watch videos like the testimonies you share because sometimes I need stronger reminders. Something in my heart resonates with these experiences. It’s like it awakens a memory I can’t fully grasp, yet feels soo familiar. Thank you. ☺️
Oh, my goodness! As soon as I noticed the title of this video, it struck an old memory, one that is decades-old.
When I was a child, I would sit on our family's front porch at night, stare-up at the stars, and ask myself that same question;
"What if there was nothing?" I would ponder, think, but then would always come to this same conclusion;
"If there was nothing….that 'nothing' would still be 'something." Seriously, what else could it be?
This happened quite a few times, always reaching that same conclusion. My only answer and sole consolation;
to have faith in our Creator / the Creator, the One who created all of the somethings…nothings…and everything.

I thought the opposite. I felt my existence and my consciousness and a much bigger presence in a room alone, grounded, clutching a Care Bear at the age of 4. Kids are not stupid. Never underestimate them, as we tend to disconnect as we age. This channel saved my life. I don't wanna die anymore. Thank you so much.
