  1. My uncle went to Majagorie. My grandmother had gave him her rosary beeds and asked my uncle to take them over there with him to be blessed. They had not changed over there but when he had taken them out at my house to give them back to her they were gold.

  2. I’d like to offer this short poem by Valeri Brainerd
in the spirit of healing and the power of nature….

The trees tell me that I matter
    The River that I belong
    The sun says I'm forgiven
    And that I'm never alone

The breeze cares how I feel
The stars can see me too
    The mountains say stand strong
    The ocean I love you

Birds show me I can fly
The plants that I can grow
    The wind says I'm unstoppable
The rain says let it go

  3. I agree with Steven. Life is like that big ole roller coaster that everyone wants to ride for the thrill UNTIL they strap you in and you feel it start moving. Time to start negotiating to get off. I wish that there was a legitimate way to speak to your soul. I need to have a serious conversation with mine. My souls idea of enlightenment is way different than my human mind. I’m putting in for a trust fund baby next go around.
Jeff, enjoyed the show. Great guest. Steven, we all wish you the best in life my friend.

  4. Wonderful guest and I can really relate to his experience. I grew up in NM near Santa Fe and left for out of state college at age 17. I was not very spiritually connected while growing up, as my parents were scientists/atheists. I came back for a few years after college while in my 20s, fell in love with a Native American man. We hiked in the canyons and slept in cave dwellings in the area. I really started to access more of my spiritual side after this experience. Later I several mediums tell me (each independently) that I had a past life around 900-1100AD as a Native American with this man I fell in love with. It make a lot of sense and I was so emotionally connected to the area (and the man, who I ended up saying goodbye to). I was so sad when I moved away for grad school and career. That was 40 years ago but I still try to go back to visit the area regularly.

  5. Again I would have to say, and I do actually challenge anyone to refute me on this, that unless we *genuinely* have the choice to resign the human condition whenever we want, then we are effectively being held prisoner, no matter what kind of "sugar coating" is placed upon it. The notion of a contract we agreed to but conveniently can't remember and so on, is absurd. No ethical contract could ever work that way (and no contract does). So is the choice to be here real or not? Or is it actually just a coercion when we scratch at the surface?

Here's what worries me about NDEs when all is said and done. They could be construed as a very clever survival program, the purpose of which is, ultimately, to get you to "agree" to being here. Why you agree…isn't really that important. Whether it's supposed to be a secret mission, or a crucial message for the world, or the world needs you, or little Julie needs her mom, or mom needs her little Julie….whatever it is. It's like whatever can be seized upon is made use of, and if there isn't anything obvious, then something uncheckable is invented out of whole cloth. I have a nagging suspicion that the point might be just to get you to re-invest in biological life.

  6. The work of Dr. Vincent Felitti in regards to Adverse Childhood Experiences has been incredible. His articles are often cited by the CDC and many health care organizations are starting to implement screening processes as part of their care to tailor the needs of patients. Dr. Mate is also another one in the field that is bringing more awareness to this topic. It definitely needs to be more mainstream
