Wondering why Sally Struthers waited until her daughter was 18 to sell the house. Why did she not sell it sooner. Now the daughter has to go through some psychological childhood trauma because of it.
"Roll em up!"
After playing with the huija they started following me when I was sleeping. I had 2 very scary episodes and I had to see a curandera. After moving to the States I thougth they had stopped but once in San Diego in a place where I was fasting I became so ill detoxing that I had to move to the sofa where I had alrady heard them and smell them. But I was so messed up that I could not deal with them and I told them so. They have never showed up in my sleep anymore. Never open that door, it will follow you
I thought this title said Melissa Gorga. Lol
Celebrity ghost stories I remember when the networks used to play this all the time. We don’t play with spirits.
So wait are they saying that the amityville horror remake was filmed inside the actual house? Or did I misunderstand that? 40:05
If you believe in ghosts, why wouldn't you believe that you can help a ghost move on? I wouldn't leave that woman there if I could do something about it, & I'm very skeptical, but belief has a certain power, so use it.
The first lady was so pleasant!
I have a feeling that Cathy Lutz was probably so traumatized by what happened to her in that house that her spirit is stuck there.
Dan Akroid did not write Ghost Busters Harold Remus wrote all three movies.
Happened to me
Lost me with the Lutz story, it's well known that they were scammers looking to sell a story for money.
Beverly's wall looks bloody!
Ms, Struthers/Samantha; I lived with my maternal grandparents: surname O'Connor, no relation to Carroll O'Connor, next to a people's cemetary for six-plus years(fabulous). It was beautiful, a calming influence. Perhaps I am a little superstitious, I would not go to the cemetary on Halloween. No wild parties, either. Quiet, respectful neighbors. My grandparents are buried there for several decades, I still cry. My grandfather was quiet. My grandmother, a great cook, it must be a job requirement and for mothers. I tank at cooking but excel at eating. My maternal grandmother would have a big shindig on Christmas Eve, a smorgasboard, open presents, make long distance calls, stay up late! Fun!
Ms. George:It's really cool that the house that you filmed in was also haunted. Creepy, though. I thought the original house was built in the 1920s, rather than 1692, the year of the "Salem Witch Trials"! Interesting reference.
Ms. DeAngelo: Did you give Mr.Pacino "An offer he couldn't refuse"? and "Who You Gonna Call?" Dan and Donna Akroyd!
Ms. D'Angelo: Is a "banquette" the same as an "island"/food prep station? Just wondering.
I like Glenn Miller's "In The Mood", The Beatles/Paul McCartney's Wings Over America, the 1980s music. Show tunes and soundtracks are enjoyed, too. I grew up in an A-Frame near near my then, 1970s, maternal grandparents, who lived next to a people's cemetary. No problems. I was good until I read Stephen KIng's "Pet Sematary" which changed how I viewed my "neighbors"!
Rough way to die, the young lady who "broke her neck"
Ms. George: Jay Anson, the author of "The Amityville Horror" and Ronald DeFeo, the killer, both died on March 12, 1980 and 2021, respectively, strange coincidence? Do you think Mr. DeFeo was "haunted"? or possessed? Hard to tell, but it is my favorite "haunted house(alleged) trope" Interesting that it was in "Salem" since the reference to the year the house was built: 1692, was the year of the infamous "Salem Witch Trials" in Massachusetts! Even though the actual house in Amityville was built in the 1920s/1930s. Great 1970s vibe, thanks. The "bulletin board in the store" did it! I got scared with the original and your rendition, thank you! That doll Chelsea had, that was creepy looking! I lived next to a people's cemetary for six years(plus) with my maternal grandparents. With an in-ground swimming pool. No problems. I don't deal with Ouija boards after watching so many videos! A warning! I wouldn't go to the cemetary on Halloween, it has a dark edge to the holiday. I am part Irish, but would not take any chances on Halloween. I am part Irish. I was good with living next to the cemetary until I read "Pet Sematary" from Stephen King,in the cemetary. That changed my view of living there. It is still my favorite novel of his/I saw all the movies. I did see the original "Amityville Horror", which got me hooked on that trope. I like the kitschy alphabet characters, too! Thanks! That roof scene scared the blank out of me.
Ms. George, I like your movie about the boat trip, a cross between "The Shining" and a creepy "Love Boat" episode, probably Halloween! 🙂
Your take on doing the "Amityville Horror" re-make was great! I winced when her hair got stuck, and she got hit by the ax in the gut(or above) area.
