Descriptions:

Dr. Reto Eberhard Rast is a Swiss medical doctor. In his impression, near-death-experiences can finest be defined by the “survival speculation” – that ist, lifetime soon after actual physical death.

Contents:
00:00:50 Are near-death experiences some type of desire?
00:04:59 If you glimpse at the vast volume of reviews, are there selected features that everyone who has experienced a near-death experience does talk about?
00:09:02 Do the scientific theses of a absence of oxygen in the mind to the flooding of certain interior prescription drugs demonstrate the entire selection of near-death experiences?
00:12:06 Are you in a position to checklist situations in which it was totally clear that there was no brain activity at all?
00:14:39 Why does not each and every a single who was clinically dead can report of a near-death experience?
00:16:01 Do you feel that the all over the world reports of near-death experiences can be a concept of the immortality of the soul?
00:21:30 If there is a chance of survival after death and if there is immaterial consciousness, just isn’t that a potent contradiction to the truth that consciousness is manufactured in the mind?
00:26:26 Will the Swiss Modern society of near-death experiences do some research scientific tests?

  1. The purpose of this life is to love God and love your neighbor as yourself.
True, if we love God and love your neighbor as ourselves, we will obey His commandments.

Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us.

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unfallen humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation.

Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past ,present ,and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.

The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone.

Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel.

Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.

  2. It´s amazing, for humans, how close death is to life on Earth. And we still have trouble accepting it. I have seen many people on the other side; myself about to die (at the same time as hearing "Cardiac arrest") but finally I stayed here; I´ve seen people leave partially and eventually come back fully. I´ve seen a neighbour at a shop, when I was passing by in a hurry (going to work), only to find out through fcbook. that she had just passed away.

  3. Try reading about NDE's from a Neurosurgeon (Dr. Eben Alexander) who actually experienced an NDE for him self and knows a little something
about how the Brain really functions. A Swiss physician should stick to subjects he has some credentials to support his claims. There is more
to the universe than mechanical physics.

  4. Does the channel of negative or reverse NDE's? Its interesting to read, but apparently not everyone experiences bliss. Its weird too, the person's life doesn't determine what they feel. I also wonder what people in eastern culture see… Compared to western culture.

  5. Tried a couple times to listen, made it almost to 3 minutes….but can't get past the fact this dude on the left is talking about dreams…so basically another topic altogether. He doesn't seem to have the intelligence to understand higher level spiritual consciousness topics…as is often the case with materialist 'scientist' type ego's.

  6. So basically this Materialist Moron is saying it's all an illusion…he's obviously not had an NDE or OBE himself!
He needs to speak with Dr Pim Van Lommel and Dr Peter Fenwick because he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.
And then he needs to look at the case of Pam Reynolds who experienced an out of body state whilst being clinically dead and was able to describe everything she saw separate from the body.

  7. What a wonderful interview. I hope this Dr. keeps digging further because he already believes the "survival hypothesis". We need more Dr.'s and scientist to explore nde's because I know we are on the breaking edge of "PROOF" of the afterlife.

  8. 8:59 Werner Huemer – "Now there's a lot of scientific explanations for Near Death Experiences. These explanations extend from a lack of oxygen in the brain to the flooding of specific internal hormonal drugs… "
In my opinion it is time we stopped to name them simply Near Death Experiences. Instead we should classify them under 2 categories:
    1. "In-Hospital NDE" which is when a person is taken to hospital, he/she is administered medications (anaesthetic, oxygen and/or drugs of any sort) which might be the source and cause of their Near Death Experience.
    2. "Non-Hospital NDE" which is when a person has not taken any drugs for recreational purposes and has had a Near Death Experience following an accident or while they were sleeping in bed or while they were doing meditation or any other non-drug induced situation.
These 2 new categories of NDEs would contribute to lessen the general doubts about the nature of NDEs and clarify a little bit more whether it is medications and their chemical processes that create Near Death Experiences or not.

  9. I wonder if the people having these profound experiences are people who have psychic abilities because studies have shown people having many traumatic events leading up to medical death prior to intervention revival do not have NDEs at all.

  10. A completely credible, professional and objective discussion. Given we don't even yet know/understand the origins of human consciousness, the possibilities in this subject/area seem endless.

  11. So happy that a medical doctor was interviewed about the ndes since even some of my friends in the medical field where I also worked for over 35 years have given every excuse that he mentioned as being the reason for ndes; having a credible person to interview is so important.

  12. Why are some people sent back with the same explanation, it's not their time yet?
    That's easy to explain.
We all have a range of tasks to fulfill in this lifetime. Maybe a child must be born in the future, or several future children depend on this person coming back.
The tasks can be about acquiring some better insights and putting them into practice, or about helping other people, especially when people have small children depending on them.
There is what the bible calls a book of life, or a life review. At the end there is a life result, good or not good. The people who are sent back get a chance to fulfill more of their tasks and that's because that way, they will have a much better life result in their future life review.

  13. This life on earth was created by the creator to help us learn and grow spiritually and to become more loving and understanding.
Life is a series of tests that we decide how to pass out of free will.
There will be a life review for all of us, what the bible calls the book of life, where your life is looked at and analysed as many NDErs report.
This life is the very basis of your future. And it's absolutely vital that the good deeds prevail.

  14. There is proof of a different state of consciousness after death because of blind people giving vivid descriptions of the people in the same room with them and the clothes they were wearing during a NDE without vital functions, as Dr. Kuebler-Ross explained in one of her interviews!!

  15. A NDE is the automatic function of the beginning of the process we call dying.
It's like a biological computer ( = the body ) breaking down and then the clever thing to do is to get all relevant information down on some USB memory stick in order to save all relevant gathered information on the computer from destruction.
Life has one purpose, to teach us to become more loving and understanding, having a positive impact on the lives of others.
The life review is the assessment of the test that life is for us. It's absolutely vital that the test result is positive, at least 51% of your impact on the lives of others is positive.

  16. Jesus said that the reason why the people will be gathered at the side of the r righteous is that they have helped others –
I was hungry and you have given me food, I was thirsty and you have given me to drink, I was naked and you have given me clothes, I was ill and you have cared for me, I was homeless and you have given me shelter, I was in prison and you have visited me.

  17. As usual, so called experts try to explain what happens to a person when they "die". Only God knows what our next life will be like. There will be another life for us, but that is up to our God to decide what that may be.

  18. prograstinating about what happens when we die will only be made clear when we die and are able to communicate with us to let us know what is happening in the life after death. So many people are trying to explain what happens to people when they "die" Nothing to do with personal attitudes. It's all in God's hands, whether you believe that or not. Sensationalism is not helping and far too many people are trying to make money or kudos over peoples loss of a loved one, to give them hope of an afterlife.. Disalousions or not, we are blessed by our Lord and only He is able to determine whether we live in this world or the world to come. Brain activity has nothing to do with it. When you die, you die.

  19. I'd like to see a conversation about dmt and nde. If dmt gives also that kind of spiritual experiences, does it mean the brain could also make chemicals that produce the spiritual experiences that happen during ndes? I'd like an expert to talk about this.

  20. I wonder if this doctor is aware of the more recent studies in which an unusual item is hidden on top of a shelf in operating rooms to see if those who report out-of-body experiences would report seeing the item as they floated above the room. Over a hundred of those reporting NDEs in such rooms and not one reported seeing the unusual object. There is also some indications that that part of the brain that is stimulated by sight may still be active for as long as twenty minutes or more after clinical death.

What's more interesting to me about NDEs is how much of the content is culturally determined–Hindus having NDEs congruent with their upbringing, Mormons having NDEs congruent with their upbringing, even atheists having NDEs that fit within the cultural context of their upbringing–that is, whatever religious upbringing they've grown up in. Quite a few include elements of reincarnation or travels to other universes. Some include meeting relatives or even one's dead pets. Some kids have reported seeing Santa Claus or people are not yet dead.

To me, the most interesting element is how many report an overwhelming feeling of love and an absence of the kind of judgment they've associated with the religion they grew up with.
