This reading reminds me of long ago when my mom asked me how old I think Dad will be when he dies. My mom was 17 yrs. younger than he and I could just see the wheels spinning in her mind that he'd die and she'd have years of independence to follow …well my deflating answer was that I told her I think he'll pass at age 90 (right then I got the eye roll lol). Well as it turns out he died 6 days before his 90th so when he comes through I ask him why he couldn't have waited just 6 more days instead of making a liar out of me lol…my mom unfortuantely passed at 71 but anyway I just had to share..GREAT READING MATT!

That's the unfortunate part of the older generations is that the women were brainwashed to think that they needed to serve their husbands hand and foot. This is because they were financially dependent on them for one thing but also religion, societal expectations etc. And when women eventually divorced or left or died, many men were unable to do basic things like cook, do laundry, etc. I'm glad times are changing but unfortunately many men still have this attitude that the women they marry are supposed to serve them.
