  1. I don't understand why people don't believe in life after death. There is something that gives our bodies life that is energy and that is what we really are, also how can someone who hasn't experienced it can have a opinion about it.

  2. There is truth of Heaven but the fact he didn’t encounter Christ nor Blessed Mary mother of God and that we can be recreated into some thing else or reincarnation, I stop listening

  4. He is wrong and what he states leads people down the wide road to eternl hell. Jesus is the way, truth and the life, theirs no other way. How do I no, i died three times Jesus face raidates pure bright blinding white fire, light. Many open visions wide awake it is appointed for a man to die and face judgment. I have been blessed to see. Hes intitled to lie but truth gives eternial life. Heaven or hell your choice!!!

  5. My take on the whole situation:

I have no doubt that Dr. Alexander truly believes in what he experienced. You can just tell from the nonverbals; body language, tone of voice, etc. I do not feel, as some in this comment section do, that he is deliberately trying to deceive people so that they can buy his book and give himself more TV time and "fame."

He had a promising career as a neurosurgeon. He was part of the mainstream scientific community. Deliberately and knowingly making up an afterlife story in order to "become famous" is taking a HUGE risk with your career, especially in the scientific fields. If fame and more money were what he wanted, he could have done a million different things that were less risky. Hell, he could have gone down the Sam Harris route before Sam Harris himself did.

Now, the big question: Did Dr. Alexander REALLY have these experiences? I can't say….and I seriously doubt anyone else on here can, either.

  6. I read your book recently. It is really beautiful and sincere. Your book helped many people in the world.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience and also dramatic experience because you were very sick.
Love is the way – always.

  7. he talks about prayer. but prayer to who ? allah, jesus, buddha, hindu gods ? who ?? and how comes this guy didnt see jesus in heaven in his NDE ? or the god of the bible, with jesus sitting on the right side of the throne ?

  8. I love this story. I was with my mom when she died. I was sleeping next to her when she took her last breath. I had a dream of my uncle Rudy coming down the hallway but he was young. Then the nurse woke me up and said she had died. So I knew he came to take her to heaven.
