  3. of course the experience is most important but it sounds more like she had an STE [Spiritually Transformative Experience] and a kind of a 'ego-death' rather than an NDE. so, not a 'clinical death' but a spiritual and/or metaphysical drug or plant induced experience.

    also, something not exactly the same but similar [re: the outcome afterwards], similar to what happened, unplanned & spontaneously, to others..who did not have an NDE either but were forever changed after a major shift in their perspective, leading to the eradication of their severe depressive state. people such as Buckminster Fuller, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle and others. as Fuller explained it he felt like he died but without literally dying..only to find himself experiencing a whole, new life, shiny, new and no longer suicidal.

    and each story is unique to the individual – but, for instance, IANDS now considers @ not only NDE's but also NDE types & other types of STE's. and so now experiencers who have STE's are also invited to share those non-physical-death, highly transformative spiritual experiences.

    notes/points to consider:

    none of the universities doing these studies, so far, are willing to exclude psychotherapy as an adjunct. and understandably, for reasons well intended and also for other reasons not necessarily all good, it might actually be a condition of the funding that psychotherapy be included.

    additionally, most of the studies being done are using lab made or lab extracted constituents from plant sourced hallucinogens vs. the whole plants themselves – paving the way for the natural plants to remain illegal in many countries. which means that if an individual prefers to have the support of a physician psychotherapist, they might find it a challenge to find one who is open to their client using non-prescription/illegal plants: something to be discussed with a trusted psychotherapist.

  13. Ok so this is kinda offensive to people who actually had an NDE, you know, someone who ACTUALLY DIED. This lady just tripped and had ego death. Dying isn't pleasant and the healing it takes to get back to the actual world isnt easy and you never get use to it. This lady is just disassociated from the human race and is being propped up by deceitful entities that travel around these circles. This is why you do Aya with the right people who hold sacred space so naive women like this don't compound their issues. She shouldn't even have been interviewed.

  18. I was the same and i have never used drugs before. But because of my sprituel curiosity, i decided to try DMT. And i had the scariest experiences in my life.( It is too long i am not gonna tell.)
    But after that using dmt experience, during the year i had other scariest experiences. I was getting paralyzes in my dream and changing dimensions but it was scary.

  20. Definitely an ego death. The soul is not in and out of the body. The body doesn’t have a soul. The body resides in the soul. Everything is frequency but to help the mind understand the soul can not “fit” in the body but the greater part of the soul is outside/around the body.     You've got to know by now that I'm a proud supporter of your show..I just think it's not fair to actual NDE'ERS that this psychedelic trip be given the same credentials as an actual nde… there i a distinct difference…. but I do love her message especially about keeping the body as healthy as possible so we can manifest greatness and Vibe higher..

  32. I'm a bit confused. This is her NDE story but it sounds like it's actually simply a story about her time using DMT? I feel like taking a psychoactive substance should be considered as a completely different experience than an NDE as there is no physical dying truly happening to the body

  33. I'm sorry I do not believe it! The devil dose not come with horns and a pitch fork. He comes as a angel of light to fool many. And in the end he will even deceive the elite in Christianity!   34. I had the same with Ayahuasca. I had the idea to try Ayahuasca but didn't know anyone who had done it. And within 2 weeks someone I knew from a few years before and was now in a spiritual community on a hill in Slovenia contacted me to ask me if I was interested in doing an Ayahuasca ceremony in my hometown Antwerp (Belgium). Some time later I met with the guy and he brought another younger Brasilian guy with him. I told him that I was just recently thinking about Ayahuasca and that now only a few weeks later we are here for discussing a ceremony. The Brasilian guy told me (he was the son of the Brasilian shaman who leads the ceremonies) that the Indians from the Amazon forrests told him that when you are looking for Ayahuasca, Ayahuasca is looking for you. Later during the Ayahuasca ceremony it was also as if I died and I experienced myself as an energy (like an iron marble in a void).
    There I learned that selflove is the only way to get over your fears.

  38. Awesome video and can relate as I have had a similar experience as the guest. I agree with Kinga regarding psychedelics and how they will find you if it is right, as I had a similar experience except with psilocybin. Having said that I think until people are called onto that path they often judge (fear) what they don't know and that was obvious here. Everything in nature has a purpose and everything in nature can be medicine or poison depending on how it is used. One can even overdose on water. Absolutely love this podcast. Keep up the great work.

  41. I don't think the effects of DMT use and an actual NDE are the same. There may be similarities, but DMT use is essentially hijacking a natural system to achieve the same result, but it doesn't produce the same effect. DMT use without an actual NDE is akin to a regular psychodelic. I don't know. I believe there is some research that confirms this.
