I would like to know more about the level of fear and physical pain she or any person feels during horrific accidents – does our adrenaline and other protective systems shut down all the pain signals during the event, allowing us to be broken and crushed painlessly? It sounds unbearable, but I've noticed no one ever talks about severe pain, or any pain really, until after an accident is over and things settle down.
Such a great interview. Wow, I was not expecting it to be sooo inspirational. I'm always amazed when people see only the best. I tend to be more depressed about everything, and I haven't even had that much trauma in my life! What a beautiful human you are, Josie, and I'm so sorry you endured unimaginable trauma as a teenager. Thank you for this!
Agree the party incident was far more horrific than the accident, I hope they were brought to justice including the father. Unacceptable behavior. Sickening. Nobody should have to tolerate such hateful behavior. I wish her all the best, her attitude and energy are exceptional. The reconstruction surgery was superb and pro bono was also beautiful. The beautiful will overcome the darkness. The energy and power that is yours can never be taken from you, it’s far bigger and greater than their entitlement and hateful behavior.
