ABOUT ROSEMARY
When Rose’s husband committed suicide at their home, she fell into a pit so deep and dark that medical professionals expressed doubts that she would ever fully recover.
Two years later, Rose was diagnosed with cancer, and during a “minor medical procedure,” she bled to death, and had no heart beat for 10+ minutes.
In heaven, she was told that if she agreed to return to earth, she’d be restored to good health, physically, emotionally and mentally.
Subsequent medical tests affirmed that every vestige of the disease was gone, but as Rose often says, the “bigger story” was the restoration of her soul. The crippling grief, occasioned by her husband’s suicide, was gone.
The story of Rose’s “temporary death experience” has garnered more than 3 million views on a wide variety of video platforms, including a recently released documentary (Life to Afterlife: 2). The prevalent comment shared by viewers is, “This is the best NDE story that I’ve ever heard.”

What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near-death experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.

  1. Rosemary, I have been a psychiatric RN for many years. The one thing I learned, which is paramount, is that suicide is the most selfish act any person can complete. It is no one's "fault" but the person who acts on it. What you experienced was extremely cruel and in no way were you to blame. The Lord showed you how much you are loved!!! God Bless You!!!

  2. I first heard your story a while ago and I watched it maybe two or three times and I always considered it my favourite nde story. So it’s nice to hear more of the story and I love you!

I’ve thought a lot about your story lately. I went through pretty similar circumstances. I was always smart, had a great job, then realized I had likely suffered abuse when I was a child and had forgotten about it. I quit my job and smoked weed all day long. I was suicidal for 20 years. Like, if I didn’t know for sure God didn’t want me to, I would have done it like 3000 times. Possibly literally.

I prayed a similar prayer. Take me away. I won’t do it but you can. And I hoped somehow I would be healed like you were because God wasn’t taking me away.

I’ve been experiencing miracles lately, in the form of a therapist who really knows how to live. She just somehow speaks life into me. I can read again. I have so much more energy. I’m able to work toward something again. I even have more endurance running than possibly ever in my life! I often think of your story because I do wanted to be healed like that and I think, somewhere at the back of my mind, that I didn’t die but I’m still getting that miracle.

I hope I’m not being too familiar! Your story just made a huge impact on me. I even pray all the time now not to have a life review! Thank you for sharing your story, it is so amusing and it’ll be fun to be friends in heaven.

    Blessings from this side

  3. Rosemary is strong spiritually and has survived many trials and tribulations that would push many others over the brink. She was cast out of her happy life into the hellish horrors of Hades through the actions of the husband she loved. She endured the worst imaginable deeds that were thrown at her by her friends and loved ones. Her diagnosis of cancer and subsequent death were another challenge that was visited upon her. Being in the presence of the angels and The Original gave her the courage to return to her life like the Phoenix that rose from the ashes. She has reported on her death and return to life in a way that suggests that we all may meet our Heavenly Father when it is our time. This may be something that those without spirituality will look upon with dread. Thank you, Rosemary, for writing “Remembering the Light: How Dying Saved My Life”. Reading and reflecting on it will give us the hope that our Heavenly Father is taking a keen interest in our Eternal Salvation. We should not be skeptical and harden our hearts and souls against our spiritual beliefs.

  4. Wow. Something in my soul resonates very strongly with you. I have listened to maybe hundreds of NDE accounts, and yours was definitely in the top three! You are an amazing and gifted speaker, and I can't wait to find other recordings of you telling your story now and in the future! Thanks for being out there sharing.

  5. Thank you Rosemary, for such a beautifully articulated near death experience, one of the very best I’ve listened to and I’ve listened to a lot. Literally every word captivated my interest, I didn’t want this video to end. Thank you so much. Neil (UK).
