Meditation is simply silencing your mind and standing in awe of god. Then holding that silence. Your brain waves and breathing slow down noticeably. I stop and sit in silence countless times per day to connect with the source. It can be for 5 seconds or 1 minute. Or 20 minutes when you settle in bed for the night. Meditation slowly opens your heart chakra and love can grow. It can open your throat chakra and you make bigger efforts to connect with others. I waved to a road worker as I slowed down and passed. I sat on a seat next to a man who was suffering and talked to him. He commented on the N95 mask I was wearing so I gave him a brand new N95 mask and he was full of joy to receive it. My heart and throat was open and I connected with these people.
Can’t you edit the title and write “a panel of physicians “ ?
This is a wonderful video. Thank you!
Love this. Science behind the Truth. It's ALL coming together.
Question: Why would we feel the need/desire to bring 'Heaven' down to earth, us?
If I feel the need to 'Bring' something into self. I would think I don't posses that which I'm looking/asking for. (Heaven.) But what if that Heaven…already is in me, waiting to be discovered?
And if I looking outside of self for the answers that lye within, will it not take longer if at all in finding it? (Why I left Religion.) Just thinking.
Dr Mary Neal I'm almost sure that she said she was an atheist before her NDE but on this video she said she was a Christian before? Of course I may be wrong.
To Mary Neal: I cannot speak for 'new agers' as you label them: but there is zero separation between our souls & God – there is no separation – nothing can exist that is NOT God…so all IS God…..now God has made a few rules, lol – & I love you & your insights…but maybe understand what other's are trying to say when they may say 'we are god' – because: we are, but only a fraction: not the entire prism….
Why does nde change have long lasting effect? Everyone’s mind and behaviour is polluted by the society as long as we are here on a daily basis.
Make bad premonition into good premonition, I disagree with the premonition issue
I see a contradiction when Dr. Mary said that “God has a plan“ and at the same that “it is not predestiny.” This pre-plan line of thinking is a green light for resignation where a deity has already decided and programmed things for us. None of these concepts exist in Buddhism, thankfully.
Mary Neal, don't worry, I have a piercing in my eyebrow for 8 years and I wasn't judged by my family (even though they hated it in the beginning) and you know what? I'm still awesome – with or without piercing. It's much more bigger than you think. And you know this, so no worries.
I'm so happy I reached here

WE need to re integrate death as a natural process. Indeed i believe with practice we could just learn to "step outside" like the ancient Tibetan's did when they were finished with their life ! No struggle no pain no drama, they learned to have controlled OBE's . We have to re learn this skill !
These videos have to be seen by more people !
Thank you so much Iands and panel members!
I was tickled to hear Mary talk of being 'in a state of constant prayer,' as it has been my experience that, while she might have used the expression to indicate a state of what I would call, 'prayerfulness', an alertness to opportunities and promptings to pray, in fact, after we have prayed for a while and we stop, we don't stop, 'dead' (as distractions intervene, whether work-related or not), but, rather, our heart/soul continues to pray silently. I've been aware of it physically.
Interesting to hear James Kwako speak of a growing interest in NDE experiences among doctors, and recalled Max Planck's dictum that one generation has to die off for a new paradigm to be accepted, that 'science advances one funeral at a time'.
Incidentally, I should think that psychiatrists, particularly the females ones who had a hard early life, would tend to be among the most interesting people to talk to, even without an NDE to their name. I wonder if Rebecca Valla has read this item by another female psychiatrist, who really 'went through the mill' as a young person (the purpose of my linking this is not to proselytize) :

That PhD must be very dear to her.
Many doctors tend to cling to the "scientific " aspects of dying and kind of dismiss , and poo poo the idea , of a real NDE. Shame! It should be studied with an open mind.
Tell the little girl that is being raped by her father that spirit guy loves her….
No one knows what is going on….bottom line. No one understands anything…bottom line
No one can explain human behavior…bottom line.
This had almost nothing to do with NDEs
Adversity really is an opportunity for spiritual growth. If life never presented one with negative events, there would be no way to grow!
Wow, she was a bit ageist there.
Forgiving is all very well, but would anyone forgive Hitler and what he did to the Jews? How far can one go to forgive mean spirited toxic people who go out of their way to hurt others. Can you honestly say we forgive and love you? Only God can do this assuming that is God exists?
It is greatly concerning that a physician would be promoting this belief and that these are "opportunities." No, these types of injuries ruin lives, and no, an afterlife does not exist- only science.
Thank you for this honest discussion. Thank you for addressing an issue I have not heard faced so directly until now, as noted by the psychiatrist, who truly spoke like an advocate (about an hour into this discussion). The need for responding to persons experiencing extraordinary events as these do require protection for the patients' rights. A suggestion was made by the psychiatrist for a "patient advocate". The current patient advocate role is not a true "advocate" rather a "patient appeasement specialist" at best. Unfortunately, the patient advocate role is very ineffective is assisting in patient rights, particularly in very vulnerable situations. In the current settings, the patient may make many requests for a patient advocate, and this may be severely derailed or delayed. The concept of the role of a patient advocate–IN AN EFFECTIVE FORM–IS CRUCIAL TO DELIVER MORE COMPASSIONATE CARE as well as to preserve the rights of all patients, particularly the most vulnerable.
I have a hard time regarding not being judgemental when it comes to psychopaths (who have no conscience),and pedophiles (who pray on children).
Thank you very much !
What does Doctor Mary mean when she says "God has a plan for each one of us; one of hope". What does one of hope mean?
I am so impressed with these people. Their compassion, their intelligence, their authenticity is so inspiring. This will change us as a species. We do need to bring heaven to earth.
God loves all "intensely"? Where is the evidence? A mother loves her child intensely. She protects her child from harm, nurses her child, gives her child good things. These are REAL actions. Did God protect 9/11 victims? Tsunami victims? Help the poor? Prevent suffering? Where is the evidence? Rich get richer, poor get poorer? Bad things happen to good people and visa versa. Where's the pattern of love. Just random chance?
Just know…there is only ONE way to the Father…and that's "Through the Son – Jesus Christ"…if you know this…you have nothing to worry about.
Wouldn't it be great if these people ran our countries. Just pure love and honesty and integrity flowing so naturally. Really loved this. Thank you.
This is so awesome
