About Mary Neal, MD
DDr. Mary Neal is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon who drowned while kayaking on a South American river. She experienced life after death. She went to heaven and back, conversed with Jesus and experienced God’s encompassing love. She was returned to Earth with some specific instructions for work she still needed to do. Her life has been one filled with miracles and intervention of God. Her story gives reason to live by faith and is a story of hope.

Dr. Neal was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from the University of Kentucky before attending the UCLA medical school. She completed her orthopaedic surgery training at the University of Southern California after which she lived in Sweden, Switzerland, and Los Angeles while undergoing 1 1/2 years of specialty training in spinal surgery before becoming the Director of spine surgery at USC. Five years later, she left the University for private practice.

She currently lives and works in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she and her family enjoy everything the outdoor world offers, especially all forms of skiing, bicycling, boating, and hiking.

  1. she is a false teacher………….stop listening to her lies and speculations that completely
opposes the Holy Scriptures. Nobody goes to heavens and
comes back. The Bible doesn't teach that you die and go to heavens. The
Messiah said once you die, you will sleep until the last trumpet for
the resurrection of the dead, either wicked or righteous. John 5:28 29
and Revelation 20:12 -14 The Bible doesn't lie ..men and women do, this
woman is trying to get attention to her speculations that a medical
explanation to her trauma for her fatal accident. It's only her own
personal opinion that she thinks she went to heavens.

  2. Its not actually "whoever god is to you"… its ONLY Jesus Christ… Speaking from experience. New Age beliefs are deceiving… Its not true. I promise you that. Jesus of the Bible is the truth. God bless I hope you realise this too as I did praise God xx Im covered by the lamb ♡ Amen

  3. Of course she maid lots of money she is a liar she's calling God spirituality this is New age jargon if you're a Christian and you believe this your not saved, Paul who was the greatest apostle wasn't aloud speak about heaven and this woman is,if you call yourself a born again Christian your not born again, you need to seek God and the biblical gospel which is we are saved by grace through faith in Christ for the glory of God

  4. Dr Neal, your book was the first I read on this topic and prevented me from suicide years ago. Then Dr Alexander's, then I found Brian Weiss, and then Betty Eadie. Thank you.

  5. Conventional Mary Neal. It surprised me to see her wearing a robe of some sort. I was afraid she was turning into a guru. Thank goodness, no.
I have other gurus that i listen to and read. But Mary i admire as a strong woman of faith. That's what rings strongest to me when i hear her speak

  6. Love you Mary! Thank's to the Lord you have been able to share this "glorious", future of ours. I am a survivor and had death and its emotions in front of many a few times. I accepted going home and I felt a peace and acceptance I didnt know. Thank you for sharing, though every time I see you I listen again, and agin.

  7. If we never have this kind of experience, just learn from it, ponder it, open your mind to it. This I did after the passing of my Mom, I searched many nde's after I had a few after death communications…we don't know everything .

  8. Thank you Joy for your incredible story. I’m still wondering how you came out of this situation after being underwater for 30 minutes!
Being kind and respectful and tolerant of others! That’s what it’s all about!
