3. I had a near death experience, I was only 8-9 years old. I have a severe peanut allergy and ate a peanut bar at school and was having a violent reaction. I was sent home from school on the bus and I was afraid I would get in trouble so I hid away. My sister found me and saw I was blown up with hives. My mom rushed me to the hospital and I was falling in and out of consciousness. My mom and to slap me to wake me up because I was going into anaphylaxis shock. I remembered dying in the elevator in the hospital all I could hear was my mom screaming for help. Then a bright light and I was walking towards it and I was ready to leave this part of the world until I jolted back into reality and saw doctors standing over me and I blacked out. I think since then I seemed more intuned to the other side because I was there. Ever since then thats when I started seeing people who weren't there, talking to people who want me to go back with them. Seeing ghosts, shadow people and seeing past love ones who would visit me when they passed away. I remember being 15 years old sleeping in my bed and woke up in the middle of the night to see my grandfather sitting in my computer chair next to me and I asked him if he was okay? Then I heard my aunt come into our house crying saying he was gone. I believe if you have been to the other side then you are able to walk along the line between here and there. I don't think I'm a psychic or medium or anything I just see things that other people can't. When I tell people this they usually say it's your imagination and maybe it is I don't know.

5. In 2004 I was in a accident that put me very close to death. I suffered 3rd degree burns to 40% of my body. I was in a medical induced coma for a week.
   I had a very religious dream or vision that was repeated over and over during my time in the induced coma.
   I was in a middle eastern feeling city and I had a very important religious scroll with a language written on it that I did not understand. I had the sense that I was doing something I could get in trouble for and had to be carful that I was not seen.
   I would find my way to different homes where people were hiding from a unknown terror and we would open a blanket and sit and open the scroll and pray. We would pray and then I would be off to the next house to do that same over and over. I always had the sense that we were hiding from something or someone and that we had to be fast so I can go to as many homes as possible.
   I had this vision over and over repeating several times.
   It was so real at the time, if I close my eyes I can almost bring myself back there.
   It feels like a past memory more that just a dream.
   It feels like something that I actually lived.

8. Not had a nde but the night my friend expired 2 rooms away from me i was in bed but could not sleep due to a very strange uneasy feeling i had for about 5 hours before bedtime. I was in bed for around 40 minutes just staring at the darkness when an orangey beige ball of fuzzy light appeared in front of me which very rapidly materialised into that of a "man" perfectly human looking. This being was just looking at me with concerned expression and after 30ish seconds he quickly vanished. Around half an hour later he appeared again looking less concerned again for about 30 seconds then vanished. I could see him from his chest upwards ..he was illuminated like he was in his own domain on a bright day but my room was dark the being was bearded ..robed and very broad shouldered and part of his robe was bunched like chucked over the right shoulder, he was caucasian with thick wiry mid brown hair and the beard was extremely sparse and strangely was cut shorter on the chin bit on one side than the other . This man had a good face and looked very similar to actor Bruce Weitz. In morning i knock on my friends door no answer..i open the door.. expired. The being bore no resemblance to anyone i knew of or know but the Weitz resemblance was almost like a twin of him and no i am not nor ever was a fan of mr Weitz.

10. I never had a near death experience however I do find them fascinating as well. I always lived my life to the fullest because I wanted to do good and have people see me as a good person. In middle school the second semester of 6th grade. I had this dream of many culters and religions. I even saw Jesus once. I only knew jesus but I didn’t know anyone else. Then 4 years have past and I was on 9th grade freshman year. I see those exact photos and Deities in World history photos. The teacher said we had to do what religion we did and what holidays we did. I was in a group where we had to do judaism and what they believed in, are mono or Polly, ect. But then that same night I meet 3 people from 3 different culters and religions.
    Buddha=Buddhism
    Jesus=Christianity
    Shiva=Hinduism
    I looked at all 3 of them and I was in tears…the world was beautiful and they had these small smiles. Idk if this is god trying to tell me that they are children of his own or how heaven even worked. I saw different types of souls. Some had different colors light orbs, some were different colored Hawks who looked spiritual (Egyptian). All souls have a completely different form…but when I saw shiva, Buddha, and Jesus…I hugged all three of them as I was crying…I then looked up at them…and Shiva said to me…”it’s time for you to wake up, you’ll be late” then smiles…I was worrying a little bit wanting to know more and understand them more. I then woke up in bed sitting up slowly as I look at the time being “5:07” am. I was convinced that there is multiple deitys but from different culters and God himself is the father of these deitys, but at the same time I was confused…”if there real how come Christians call them demons?” “Isn’t everyone a Christian” I then remembered the day of the religions project from World history…I realized that everyone has a different believe then the other but I then wondered…”is there a religion that worships all kinds of deitys from other religions?”…then eventually I found the answer and myself. Now I am a Proud sophomore Omnist who believes and or respects all religions. I want to learn more about other deitys so I can find a way to understand them and how o should properly worship one. All religions do have a dark side but Religions can also have good meanings. Life lessons you can learn. Sometimes doing something you believe in will be harsh but sometimes they can believe it’s a good reason. While other will believe it is only an exuse and think there in the wrong. Religions can also change over time. Less aggressive, less Judgmental, and so on. I am happy to say that God himself is a Strong all might god. But has other gods to be part of his family. God will have many names and forms. Nun, Odin, Jehovah, yahweh, and ect. If I had a near death experience I would hope to see for the better. I do what ever I can to make people happy to make myself happy. Every last one of you. Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, Ect. Your all beautiful people. And I wouldn’t have it in any other way.

11. I believe everyone has a color too. But it’s more like an energy level/density. One of my coworkers said he saw mine as a light sky blue. What the man in the story said sounds about right. We are all trying to get to that white light level. Because at that point we’re joining and becoming one with THEE One.

13. A piece from a new book titled: Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within

    Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence – the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future – right down to the minutest particles of dust – each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration.
    
    ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter – I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects – including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars – none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach into the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses.
    
    To break it down – Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists – including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them – our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant – our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma – and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory – whenever we experience or express our emotions – or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing.
    
    The second law – Renge – Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho – these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlie all spiritual and physical existence.
    
    The final and third part of the tri-combination – Kyo, is the Law which allows Myoho to integrate with Renge – or vice verse. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter – as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication – perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists.
    
    Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us – all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux – constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment of time than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ – the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation – rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge – and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents.
    
    Nam, or Namu – which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives – as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives – even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances – turn them into positive ones – or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are – regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect – the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to between making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, or producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always to respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything.

    NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result from any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self – this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things – such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things in a conventional way – rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within – including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need.
    
    Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time – to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. 14. I have not had an NDE. I had a very vivid dream one night. It was 2003. I was dealing with so much aggression toward me that I had built up a lot of anger. In my dream, I was being made to get on a yellow school bus by my mother. The bus was taking us to something like bible study. Once at our destination, I saw a choir dressed in red robes. They were singing, "Only God Knows". That was the chorus of that particular hymn. Then, we were shown a film. In the film was a poor high school kid. He was being bullied by the jocks, cheerleaders and well to do students. They constantly picked on him, called him names and bullied him into submission. This kid was forced into loneliness.
    One afternoon, while walking home to his parent's shack in the woods, the bullies had followed him. They stood in his path, taunting him relentlessly. One push. One shove. More pushing. More shoving. He was pushed to the ground where he had hit his head on a rock. He died instantly. The kids argued over how they should dispose of his body. While doing so, the boy's dog started barking at them. So, they killed the dog as well. They dug a shallow grave for the boy and his dog. In the next scene I was shown, the boy's parents were on the news pleading for anyone who had any information about their son to please come forward. This went unsolved. There was no resolution.
    I was furious. I could feel my anger boiling over at this injustice. Immediately, I was back in the church watching and hearing the choir sing "Only God Knows". In my dream, tears were streaming down my face at what I had been shown. I felt every emotion of the boy, his parents and the righteous indignation of the bullying teens. The experience felt like more than 'just a dream'. My heart felt broken and I was angry.
    I woke up on my back. As I lay there, staring at the ceiling, I saw the image of a Cross. As I became more awake, I realized I was seeing a street lamp light up my ceiling fan, making it appear as a Cross, to me. I laid there for an hour, processing what I had just dreamed.
    Later that morning at work, I told a coworker. She didn't say a word. She listened with pure intent and comprehension of what I was telling her. After I finished telling her exactly what I have just written, she said, "You know you were given a divine message, right? Do you know what today is?" She said, "Today is Ash Wednesday. I would love to have you accompany me to accept the ashes on our lunch break." I said, "I'd love to." It was the most emotional thing I have ever experienced. I do believe I was given what I needed. A break from the anger. It was made known to me that some things are beyond our control and God is in control. Anger is non productive. Anger is self destructive. Love and compassion is the key to everything.

23. The purpose of this life is to love God and love your neighbor as yourself.
    Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us.

    Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unfallen humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation.

    Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past,present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.

    The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone.

    Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel.

    Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.

I had the same "NDE" as you guys except I was able to use logic to come to the conclusion it was the drug. the near-death experience (NDE) is sometimes a by-product of ketamine, an anesthetic used in both medical and recreational settings. It is suggested that these close parallels can be explained by a variety of conceptual models including the following: The NDE is a similar form of chemically induced hallucination. Ketamine induces objective out-of-body experiences. Ketamine-linked NDEs are artifacts produced by expectancy and the hospital setting.

29. I haven’t had an NDE in that I’ve tangibly almost died. But in my late teens I had a dream. It was intensely vivid. The colours were so vibrant and hyper-real. I was a man. I was standing on a flat plain atop a cliff overlooking the ocean. The sky was so broad, cloudless, and a beautiful intense blue. The sun was yellow and bright.

    I was looking down at a small patch of sand and rocks below me. Then suddenly I was falling. I felt a startled surprise, but no fear. I didn’t dream the impact. But I knew that I had died. And suddenly I was rising. Up and up into that bright, sunny blue sky.

    I was formless, a glimmering mass of energy, rising and expanding outwards.

    I could feel myself reaching outwards, becoming everything and nothing. I was on the cusp of remembering all that I was, and it was the most pure bliss, absolute rapture. I’ve never felt anything like it in my waking life.

    I woke just before I merged with the rest of the cosmos. I don’t know if it was a past life memory, or just an incredibly vivid fabrication of my mind. But I still remember that feeling, and it was incredible.

    You see my husband and I have been renovating my parents house since they both passed away so we can sell it, and my husband's a little fried from working ft and spending his free time with me renovating. So after watching this video I decided to go on Groupon and get us some hot air balloon tickets to do something out of the ordinary to do something more,
