  1. Before getting involved with Vajrayana Buddhism, one might google "Vajrayana Buddhism" and "sexual abuse." Also, don't surrender yourself to a guru. Any person who understands about love and Oneness, wouldn't expect the obedience that some gurus expect. Spiritual growth can be obtained without indulging in some very worth questioning tantric practices. Don't reach out to so-called deities when you don't know anything about them. Somebody's statements about such deities aren't your knowledge.

  2. One of the most important things Robert said was that he was "almost" dead – most say that they were dead – they have not died! It is called a "near" death experience is it not? there is a huge difference between physical death and spiritual death! if they had died spiritually they would not have been able physically to come back to earth.

  3. I'm on the same page! I compassionately allow myself to have faith in God, hope in Christ, read the Bible, do my Krishna mantra chanting with my 108 beads, study the Masters of the far East including Buddha… These things feed my soul. Why go to a church when I am the temple? I like it calm and peaceful in here.

  4. I found this interview very thought provoking Robert/Jeff. Very sorry not to get to hear a poem there…..I would like to know what Robert thinks is happing, you know, what is this reality or non-reality all about? What is the benefit of forgetting who or what you are? Is it like the film the nines, where we have lost our Self in our own creation/imagination?

  5. I am so very happy to see this Bob! I know that we are Facebook friends, but I never knew that we had such a similar experience. Mine was a dream OBE, and yours was an NDE, but we both went into the clear light for what seemed an eternity. And it’s so funny that you appeared on the podcast two weeks before I did!!! And yet I only just saw it now!

  6. NDE's are personal experiences.
Regardless of websites who broadcast those personal experiences, like this site, judgement set aside Since it is personal, it one has Beliefs that is close to the Creator's evolutionary vision, then the Creator will use those Belief's as a method of communication. Otherwise the communication takes a different tack in a personal NDE.

  7. Timeless luminosity – what a wonderful way to describe in indescribable light. I experienced that light myself. I feel the feeling of abundant infinite love when he describes it. Magnificent.

  8. It would've been nice to just hear what happened rather than hearing it laid out within in Buddhist framework – which isn't very descriptive. I would very interested in hearing a simplified retelling of this experience.

  9. This interview very interesting. All are but show different aspects or description of a similar or same experience. Liked Roberts opinion on ourselves being fabricated. Because I think we're all an expression of one source. I like all your podcasts Jeff. I've been enquiring of the meaning of life most of my life, when not addressing simply living. Regards Gary Grimshaw, Seaton, Devon, UK. Age 68……

  10. This was not the fartest we can go or be… I’ve had a similar experience but I was incapable of seeing the human experience as boring, or painful… when you are one with all you absolutely love every single moment and experience without discrimination, in any way. I remember how I loved everything, Earth was as peacefull and beautiful as anywhere else in the universe and heavens, it just depends of your state of mind.

Also mudras are stil concepts, and a medium or a practice… in the oneness there is no concepts like you said, there is no image… BUT also there is no practice, there is no « elsewhere ». What you want, you create… If you saw the human experience as indesirable or boring, and if you used mudras… you still had some ego attached to you.

You used mudras cause it was a concept you learned in a past life as a practice… and it was your personal way of manifesting… but mudras in that state of stillness doesn’t mean anything more than just dancing or praying.

  11. When I had a spontaneous spiritual awakening of the One we all are a part of, in essence ARE, then I couldn't understand individuality, that seemed to be the miracle to me after seeing the oneness. I still don't fully grok the reason why we are living here as individuals, unless perhaps it's just more fun, in the long run. I can guess it is part of the creation process, that the One wants a lot more one's to exist, the One doing a; one, one, one, one….. more, into infinity. Lots of self-created partitions! Even those are of the one, of the same essence. The ocean divided into droplets is still the ocean none the less, but as the undivided ocean the depths are much greater.

  12. I wrote a book drawing parallels between the Bible and the NDE, I think people of other faiths could do the same drawing parallels between their faith and the NDE. Religion takes spiritual truth and puts it within a cultural context.

  13. 99% of NDE I hear about are from Christians and the ones from "Atheists" are suspect because of Christian upbringing…so I want to know more of NDE of non Christians to know if they experience the same things as Christians or not.
