  1. Just loved these two ladies' personalities. I'm also a kid from the '60's and enjoyed Judith's sense of humour and intelligence. You deserved a bigger crowd. Melinda, just loved the unique empathetic, sensitive person that you are. The way you were listening to Judith said so much about you. Your voice mirrors the vulnerableness of your beautiful soul. And still there's so much ever expanding depth and strength in you

  2. Oh my gosh!!! I worked ICU last night. It was so frustrating, exasperating, and my watch began losing time!! It’s happened before, but only when I’m exasperated. I was an ER RN who had a NDE several years ago after a flu shot. I saw my father and grandmother who were dead, and they came to me saying that it was time to come with them, but I told them that I couldn’t, but had work to still do.

  3. 43:00: "How do just 'be'?" There is no "how" in being. There simply is. I've known many human doings in my life. Human havings, human wantings, human needings, and human doings but very few human beings. Being is our nature. Everything else is a distortion of our nature. This is one big reason why everything is so fucked up on this planet – not many, not nearly enough, people know what it is to just be.

  4. I’d like to share an observation as well. Melinda is absolutely adorable & authentic. I would have pegged her as an LDS member – that’s not a bad thing – but I’m glad she understands that there’s more than man-made religion. However, I felt that her previous conditioning led her to emphasize to the audience that she & Judith had never shared their stories. That she was trying to distance herself from her new friend’s sexuality. I may be wrong and if I am, I apologize. But I don’t fault her for her knee-jerk reaction. I get it. She’s a delightful speaker and I wish her all the best in her life.

  5. Facts. I had my experience dealing with a woman that did left hand path magic. My soul came out my body, it was powerful and metallic. A huge light the same size as the sun but it wasn't blinding and it was pure white and crystalline like told me to run towards it but not with a voice but I felt like I was one with its thoughts and I understood what to do because I was chasing this demon into the light. As I chased the demon into the light it was being shattered like glass but as I went into the light it was filled with an unimaginable love, warmth, and harmony that doesn't exist in this world! As I went fully into the light I felt at home and I never wanted to leave it but the light picked my physical body up and I felt its divine love and I got up smiling with a blissful feeling of its divine power and love. My Powerful Higher Soul saved me from those powerful hooded cloaked shadow demons by giving me powers to destroy them and all the pain in the flesh goes away and in the spirit world everything is 100 times intense! And the LIGHT gave the power to us ALL! I knew that was the source for ALL! I'm so humbled by it! People think I'm weird since then but I dont care. And after this experience I have even gained a few psychic abilities from time to time. I cant change anything but it's like I'm experiencing the near future before it happens and it scares my girlfriend.

  6. I’ve had some strange experience I don’t know if I had a nde I went under surgery and while I was out, I experience my body traveling like I am going under a like floresant light and there was a loud buzzing sound, but when I woke up was told that’s impossible. But I remember it so strongly.

  7. Is it possible that NDEs are designed to take the fear away from death? Imagine someone taking their own life because they think they are going to have a similar experience. The bible teaches that only those who follow Christ will enter the kingdom of God, all others with not enter in. For those who have NDEs and don't know Christ, are being deceived into thinking that life after death will be perfect, when that is not the case.

  8. My parents were very abusive. In pre-K I used to wait for my real parents to come get me. Didn't quite feel at home. Then in my early 40's, I yeared to "go home" which I don't know where it is, but it's not on Earth.

  9. Here's the rub: The Christian Bible says that non-believers are cast into Hell when they die. AND it says, "A person is to die only once and then the Judgement"! The Bible also says that Satan is a great deceiver and can "turn himself into a being of light." See the conflict, dilemma? We live in a world that is steeped in evil and which seems to be growing by the minute, so I'd be very careful about buying into these so-called near-death stories lest it's all a satanic trap composed of feel-good words like "freedom" and "beauty" and "love" and "being home," as Satan has LOTS of power and is an absolute master when it comes to using lies and tying them in with the longings of our hearts!

May The Lord Jesus help us all.

  10. This is slightly off-topic, but I’m concerned about the friend who astral travelled and got stuck in an orange. What ever happened to him? Is he still in a psych hospital? I meditate a lot and people who do my type of meditation often have experiences of leaving their bodies, so this is alarming to me. Also, thank you both for your sincerity and courage in sharing these stories.

  11. All these stories of near death experiences and not one mention of God. The ones that have gone a few steps further than these ladies come back with stories of Hell or of Heaven they all start like these stories. These are nice stories but incomplete. There is only one God and his son Jesus who became human giving us a way to get to Heaven that whoever believes in him and repents will have ever lasting life with him or who ever rejects him will have the opposite of him. These stories might have gotten to the just before but either way it’s real and all in the Bible. It’s not a religion it’s a relationship with him.

  12. If you look for it outside yourself you will never find it. That's because what you seek that will fulfill you can only be found inside yourself. Read "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.

  13. I died when I was 19 from a pulmonary embolism. I broke my femur and fat lodged in my lung. I died late at night in the hospital.
I've been disappointed in that I only saw a tremendously bright white, long room.
After listening to NDE videos,I see that many are explained similar to what I saw. I didn't see any beings. The room is all I recall but it seemed to go on forever.
    I came back different.

  14. I was a Critical Care /Trauma nurse for 20 years and have seen some horrendous shit. I was burnt out drug addicted mess in the end. I have since turned my life around and have 13 years clean but I would NEVER trade that experience in for anything as it taught me A LOT about life/death suffering, pain, communication with grieving families, hope, loss, fear, courage. When my patients died I always pictured them above the room and would say a prayer for them. I have seen a few ghosts, I have had patients tell me when they are going to die and they do. I am extremely grateful for having that life experience ~

  15. I enjoyed the 1st lady’s story, it made sense with the truth of God … The 2nd lady, regarding the watches never working, well the Bible says ‘alive in Jesus’. I never heard her talk about Jesus, she just talked about physic stuff and then when it came to her partner, I turned it off, so does that mean she’s not alive in Jesus. That’s what is sounds like, which in the end, from what I read in the Bible Gods word, is not a good outcome, that darkness won’t have love then, because without God, the Bible says, there is no love

  16. You guys are great. I worked in ICU x 23 years. When I was young I was excited about the codes, machines and the excitement. As years wore on, that wore off and I really enjoyed working with patients and families who were dying. One day I wasn't thinking about what I was doing. Taking care of a young man who was dying of CA. he had a music collection and I was talking to him about it. His wife came around the corner and asked who I was talking to. I was embarrased but his wife thanked me for treating him like he was there because she knew he could hear me. I did feel him in the room although he was very close to death.
