Love this! A true struggle for me in many ways.
I know exactly how Lysa feels….. My mom didn't want me when she got pregnant with me. Yes she was 38, an alcoholic . She was always mean to me, physically, verbally and mentally. I looked for love in ALL the WRONG places..Finally at the age of 42 being in a State prison from doing crack cocaine of 13 years I found and Surrendered myself to Jesus… I still have inner rejections and this "Uninvited" OBS is JUST FOR ME!!! Thank you Lysa…I Love you and you are a BLESSING to me

i also had a near death experience that brought me closer to God. This was the first bible study I finished at a womens bible study. Amazing book, and I would recommend for anyone to read. We all feel like this. I am now baptized and part of church and studying her Finding I am on my own.
I have a story about assigning a person's attitude too! It was a neighbor who I thought disapproved of me, our large number of children, and our home schooling. One day she called and said she met this adorable person who reminded her of me! Another full quiver mom who home schooled. What a blessing and change of heart that created! Because truthfully, I have never thought much of myself, which is probably the root problem. Thank you for writing your book and for reaching out to the "unloved" / "uninvited"!

Honey, “uninvited” cannot work inside of the organized CHURCH”. It’s not designed for intimacy with others sweetheart. We who do not have access to an entourage of inner circle ladies in our “church families” and only have JESUS and His HOLY SPIRIT to lean on, also know the POWER of HOLDING FAST THE HEAD. wait here for ME. I WILL CONNECT YOU WITH NO SWEAT ON YOUR PART WITH JUST THE RIGHT PEOPLE AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME. I’ve experienced this over and over. It ain’t for the faint of heart. Never one of “the girls”. No one has a problem with connecting with those HE CONNECTS US WITH. Key word…”HE”.
