But what if when you say your loved ones can see your going to be ok because they can fast forward into your life but what if your not going to be ok? Can’t they see if your going to not be ok? Than what happens? Not everyone gets better no? Some people take family deaths really hard and hang onto that pain and end up committing suicide no? What happens than?

Matt, your discussion about soulmates just gave me SO much comfort. I know that I've commented on several of your videos in the last couple of weeks (I've been binge watching your channel), but I very unexpectedly lost my husband to a medical emergency a little over two weeks ago, only 3 weeks after his 52nd birthday. We were together for a total of 22 years and I KNOW that we were soulmates. He was 11 years older than me and we met and started dating when I was only 18 years old and had just graduated from high school. He had just turned 30 at the time, but despite our age gap, we IMMEDIATELY connected and fell in love. We actually met in an AOL chatroom in June of 2000. We were both paramedics at the time, so that's how we connected. We both lived in New England, but I was in Maine and he was in Boston, so we lived a little over 3 hours away from each other. We started chatting online and then that progressed to talking on the phone for HOURS at a time. About a week or so later, he drove up to Maine to meet me and we spent several days together in Acadia National Park and had the BEST time together. We had SUCH a strong bond and connection that was almost instantaneous. Over the years, could finish each other's sentences and would often say the exact same thing at the exact same time, whether it was in face-to-face conversation or in a text message. I have been feeling SO lost without him. I still can't process that he's no longer here. We were attached at the hip and did EVERYTHING together for these last 22 years. We were literally a team in this life. He was my rock, my support, and my security blanket. I ALWAYS knew that I was safe and protected when I was with him. I'm only 40 years old and I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life. I would like to eventually find another partner, but I KNOW that I can never replace what my husband and I had, because what we had was SO rare, especially these days. Our love for each other was truly unconditional. Of course, we would argue, fight, have disagreements, and butt heads as most couples sometimes do, but we never left each other's side and couldn't imagine life without each other. Since it hasn't even been 3 weeks since his passing, I'm NOWHERE near ready to even think about meeting somebody new or dating, but when the time comes, I hope that I can find a partner who understands that my husband will ALWAYS be a huge part of my life and was my first true love and soulmate.

Matt, you are amazing. I love your videos and I just pre-ordered your book last week. I have always had an open mind and thought outside the box my whole life. My mom was the same way. She passed 22 years ago next week. I get signs from her all the time. Even though I was raised Catholic, I was always more on the spiritual side. Also, about 14 years ago, I left my abusive husband that I only stayed with for our son's sake. Eight years ago, I reconnected with a man I met when I was 17. I'm sure my mom is happy, because she couldn't stand my ex-husband. We lived on different coasts. Long story short, we phoned, e-mailed and visited and I finally moved across the country to be with him. That was four years ago. We just got married in June. We feel we are soul mates that found our way back to each other. The nice thing is that my mom met him back in 1970 and I got to meet his mom before she passed. I'm sure the moms know each other on the other side. Anyway, so much of what you say makes sense. My husband and I will enjoy your book for sure! Also, I love your accent!!!
