Descriptions:

Prof. Dr. Wilfried Kuhn is the head doctor at the neurological clinic at Leopoldina Medical center in the town of Schweinfurt, Germany. He has dealt with the phenomenon of near-death experiences for many many years.

In this interview, we get a look at how this phenomenon could be explained. Is it a hallucination? Do medications generated by our personal bodies engage in a purpose? Could a “soul” as the embodiment of consciousness outlive the actual physical death or was the existence of these a matter previously debunked?

These matters among other folks inevitably guide to the most important concerns that is even a lot more existing because of to near-death experiences: Is there lifestyle after death?

Contents:
00:27 Just one clarification for near-death experiences is that they are hallucinations. What do you think?
04:07 Is the lasting influence seriously comparable to hallucination?
07:13 Is it possible from your point of view that the near-death experiences are brought about by medication manufactured by the body?
09:55 What explanatory versions exist for out-of-body experiences?
13:34 Are there numerous stages of brain death?
17:37 What do you feel of the see expressed by Dutch cardiologist and near-death researcher Pim van Lommel who based on his scientific tests concluded that consciousness can evidently exist with no mind capabilities?
22:51 Do you see a relationship in between this phenomenon of terminal lucidity and near-death experiences?
25:57 Could near-death experiences be taken as a full reveal that lifestyle continues after death?
28:15 What could medicine and therapists do better to make life much easier for those impacted?
31:29 But the subject matter of near-death experiences is continue to not taught wherever?
33:10 Have you prepared any unique tasks to connect the understanding of what happens at the verge of death far more properly?

  1. Great in depth interview with dr. Kuhn. I agree fully with him that our brains are like receivers and are picking up other worldly transmissions from time to time. It explains a host of things that we call coincidences.

  2. we might not have a sensory source in 3D world, but, reality is more that 3D world (material world visible to us, it is not all there is) so I wouldn't call supernatural experiences hallucinations.. they are windows into another world.. given to people by the grace of God.. and some strange things come from the evil side, and they should be ignored.. but the strong feeling of being loved and knowledge about future events can come only from God, evil can not duplicate divine love and can not know future, just present and past.. I wouldn't call visions (received in dreams or while being awake) hallucinations.. some people were dead for days and came back (one Russian doctor died during her brain surgery and was in hospital morgue for 72 hours, saw heaven and hell, and became alive again, here is her story.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBrLD-PMHOk&feature=emb_logo)

  3. This debate is actually ended. Dr.Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon, who had a NDE has put this issue to bed. He was attended to by medical professions from his own hiospital, colleagues of his. After his revivial he sought out the medical reports to determine one thing: if he had had any brain activity during the time he was clincally 'dead'. The answer was no, which means, according to current medical science, any type of hallucination or hallucinatory experience is impossible. Therefore his experience could not be explained away as being a product of his brain.

  4. How sad that an animal had to be beheaded to understand the end stage of dying! To quote Gandhi
I abhor vivsection with my whole soul. All the scientific discoveries stained with innocent blood, I count as of no consequence. However, the NDE stories are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  5. I have watched around 100 YouTube Near Death Experience videos but this one has made think that we all should stop to name them simply Near Death Experiences.

It is time we had at least 2 categories:

    1. "In-hospital NDE" which is when a person is taken to hospital, he/she is administered medications (anaesthetic, oxygen and/or drugs of any sort) which might be the source and cause of their Near Death Experience.

    2. "Non-hospital NDE" which is when a person has not taken any drugs for recreational purposes and has had a Near Death Experience following an accident or while they were sleeping in bed or while they were doing meditation or any other non-drug induced situation.

These 2 new categorizations would perhaps contribute to lessen the general confusion and doubts about the nature of NDEs and clarify a little bit more whether it is medications and their chemical processes that create Near Death Experiences or not.

  6. Bla, bla, bla …. we can’t prove spirituality throughly science. Give up doctor. The only proof is the information given by NDE experiencer; period. Unless they come with a MRI machine that will detect the spirit. This doctor is making it too confusing.

  7. Fascinating interview. I would like to have asked Dr. Kuhn to elaborate more on what he means when he says that drugs ie – DMT can affect the brain receptors to perceive differently. Based on what he said earlier he certainly wasn't referring to hallucinations? My take away was that he understands we may be perceiving a “real” alternate reality which none of the shamans would disagree with.

  8. This reminds me of the 'Ferrell Cat Syndrome.' When a society or a group of has been accustomed to a certain way of living, mind set, beliefs' and you introduce an new or foreign way of living, belief, ethics, they will REJECT all premises of that NEW belief out of protecting their already known, trusted belief and way of life, like 'Ferrell Cats.'
They will fight, reject, scratch, bite, hiss, spit 'Till' they realize, They are not in any danger, their being fed, kept in a safe, LOVING environment.
The Cats start to see what's actually going on, their fear is unwarranted and they start to see Who and What is actually Caring and Loving them. I believe this is where humanity is. We are starting to realize our actual situation in life. Some of you Cats are still Ferrell and that's ok. I sure do love that cat-nip. Hmm?
    -Just my take on things.

  9. Some layers of the field contain simple information about the solid matter of your body and its frequency, while other layers {contain information about} your spirit, your consciousness or, speaking from a human-religious point of view, your soul. Awareness or consciousness in this case is a simple energy matrix, divided into different layers of your field in the sphere of influence – nothing more, nothing less. The consciousness/awareness matrix, or soul, can also be separated from its field of rest. It can, despite its removal, continue to exist in a self-sufficient manner for a certain amount of time. The para-layer layer is not limited only to the individual, but rather as a part of a general information layer – you could call it in a prosaic sense the community soul – that is connected with all animate and inanimate matter and all consciousness which exist on this main level.

  10. Just an observation: If you need to make an important decision, like should I push the self destruct button, 🙂 what parts of the brain exactly makes the decision? It very much FEELS like consciousness rules the brain, not the other way round.

  11. I almost didn't watch this. I thought I knew what a neurologist would say and I had already decided I disagreed. But I watched it and I was wrong. Thank you for posting this intelligent discussion and viewpoint which did not seem to be slanted by predetermined prejudice. Ironically I almost was guilty of predetermined prejudice by not watching.

  12. Whilfried if you look at Christian YouTube it would make you realise there is life after death. NDE, you would soon know we have a soul, that leaves the bodythe second we dye,the soul either gose to heaven or hell, depending on our god judge s us.

  13. It is real the out of body experiences there are alot of people that there is enough proof that they come back and tell others that they remember going to heaven and hell, these people do not know each other. There is enough proof of life after death, some people need more faith start watching ,Christian YouTube and get spiritually educated. Not everything has to be proved on a science level, some times things are on a spiritual level.

  14. JESUS FAN
Thank you for sharing…The continuation of and Eternal Life is REAL indeed and very comforting to know we'll experience the Light and Love of Jesus who is with us and our Loved ones…Always

  15. This was very insightful and informative. I had to rewind it and listen twice. I will listen again tomorrow. It is very deep and gives one much to think about the nuances of the interplay between brain activity and soul.

  16. Great interview! Problem is only "proven" scientific hypothesis are thought in school and therefore the students are not encouraged to research the unknown, the open questions. Furthermore, out of those who choose the scientific path, very few have the courrage to raise above the norm and ask the disruptive questions. People don't go much beyond the socialety accented limits unfortunately, most of the time for practical reasons: a PHD student would never get such subject approved (and difficult to find a supervisor), and a senior scientist would be marginalised and rather called crazy than be encouraged to break the limits of uncertainty. Quite sad these limitations we humans put on our own development abd understanding. Thank God with people like Dr Kuhn!

  17. in 1973 I was pronounced "DEAD On ARRIVAL" at a medical center… More than half an hour passed, then my heart started again… During that time, I "LIFE The Real Self", entered the WHITE LIGHT, and have remained in the WHITE LIGHT to this day… Those who claim to have returned, have NOT recognize WHAT, The WHITE LIGHT really is… When you recognize WHAT the LIGHT actually is, and accept it, you remain in The LIGHT…

  18. Can anyone one prove that there is even such a thing as hallucinations? There are so any testimonies of people's pets looking at, barking at, growling at something no one else sees (indpoors)indoors. Do animals have hallucinations? This sounds so psychobabbel
