  1. Sounds like the ‘being’ just encouraged you to be a whole lot more self-centred and prideful, it’s not YOUR world. It is God’s world, and since you didn’t meet Jesus I am convinced you met a deceiving evil spiritual being (demon etc) that led you away from the Truth in Jesus (and away from heaven) and took you down a wrong path that leads to separation from God (hell). These evil beings are so sneaky, they’ve been preying on us humans for thousands of years and know how to fool us. Only Jesus is our Truth, Way and Life. Seek Jesus only.

  2. There is something in this story that
feels packaged, pedantic, too new- age-y. The calm described was almost consistent throughout the entire experience. But then, when was there ever the need to "let go"? Nothing was described where there was actual suffering or discord that required letting go and surrendering, because the calm and peacefulness seems to have been the state from beginning to almost the end. It seems, possibly, that the experiencer wants to communicate their stellar spiritual level by being able to remain a calm witness throughout the ordeal. I would have found this account more believable if there were even a moment when "surrender" happened that had been preceded by something other than perfect calm…but since all that is described is the calmness throughout, the witnessing state of consciousness the whole time, why even mention "surrendering"?

  3. My Brother in Christ this sounds like a OBE not NDE. Outer Body Experience are in your case detaching yourself from your physical body to stop you from the no doubt horrible pain that comes with burns. Your Spirit Guide came to you and shared valuable knowledge with you so you wouldn't panic. Being in a vulnerable state the other side can try and lour you down the wrong path of trickery and deceit. Thank God every day for this Gift. I am sure you required a lot of Faith on your journey to recover.
