Highly religious NDEs are common with highly religious people. Likewise, atheists and SBNR will encounter a great light, an indescribably presence, perfect peace, and unconditional love. I truly believe that in short order, either before returning to the body for some or only after permanent death for others, the religious ones are soon shown that God doesn't care about religion, and even Jesus will have a good laugh with you about it. The good news is there's nothing for any of us to fear.
