Indeed we are.
If the Creator made us then who made the Creator, that's the biggest mystery. It's apparently a personality, like us, and we started as just a raw consciousness at birth and gradually became a personality, wouldn't the Creator be the same? You can't just spring into existence as a personality, it's too complex, it has to form gradually bit by bit.
I also think the whole purpose of a consciousness was that evolution found that it helped ensure the preservation and multiplication of DNA. If a DNA machine can think, even in a very basic form, like "if I see something showing large sharp teeth it could eat me so I better run", it will keep the machine alive longer. There would be no purpose for a consciousness/personality if there weren't something for it to protect. We're basically slaves created by DNA for it's benefit. If we do something harmful to the machine we're punished with pain and if we do something beneficial to it we're rewarded with a shot of dopamine. It gives us a big shot when we engage in acts furthering DNA reproduction, which is why we do it so much. It's a very effective strategy, creating a personality and then manipulating it with neurotransmitters as a carrot and a stick.

They do have wings, some ( Seraphim ) have 6 Wings, others have 5, some 4, and others 8 wings, but they are not the feathered variety !
The idea of feathered wings, is a human invention !
