I have heard similar stories like that the majority of my 72 plus years of life. As comforting that is for many. Big question here is what’s wrong with just simply dying and not going anywhere. Only back to where we all came from which is no place because we never existed before. I am good with that concept. Dying is dying and when we are dead we’re dead. Why is it some feel compelled to be reunited with loved ones who have already crossed over. Or even connect with“Jesus “ . Why not just be dead and done with everything we ever.experience past or present. Instead of hoping for a better here after to continue on with. Thy will be done , Amen plain and simple , sounds very peaceful to me. That’s why I don’t buy into these stories as some fanatics do. That’s all
My Mom died April 7th and My Dad can't wait to see Her again in Heaven. His kidneys are failing fast.

Curious how a few people here have had more than one NDE.
In the catholic tradition we are taught suffering has great value. Our suffering gives us the opportunity to grow in faith and the love of God. Christ is the head of the church. He suffered greatly for her. We Christian’s are the body of Christ. Therefore we too will experience suffering. We can unite our sufferings to Christs sufferings on the cross and offer it up for the conversion of sinners and the salvation of souls.

These stories seem to be scripted ,im sure someone wrote this all down and recited it.Blah blah blah I floated…and saw people delightfully splendidly smiling holding lollipops and I felt the gaze of love crashing from the ocean as I was flying smoking meth and doing lines of crack cocaine…….I like my story better..

Had the same experience shot up into atmosphere just above thin blue line. stopped and floated weightlessness for five minutes . Didn't die. I think i more astral projected then had NDE . Still seeing earth from this prospective was something I'll never forget. So blessed

"God" isn't always referring to the religious one , that isn't real to me and never will be. A higher power will always be relatable though

When I hear the words Spiritual Experience, I feel that this is experience having infinite possibilities and no definable limits. Religions, with their rules and structured definitions create boundaries to experience. Religion is very helpful in helping us find truth, meaning and a pathway to God. This during our earthly existence. I do not perceive any religion on earth contains all of the answers, all of the truth, the only way that one must follow. By creating rules, limitations, boundaries and attempting to define the undefinable, using human language, A religion must limit ones search for meaning and purpose. We must open our hearts entirely to feel, recognize and accept God's love. We then see and feel love in and for every other person, we eliminate our fears, accept true responsibility for our lives. We hold no resentments, no resentments at all. When this occurs, we are truly transformed. Truly an awakened conscious expression of God on earth.
This was such an amazing testimony and lesson. I’m so blessed to have heard it.

Thank you for sharing "that which is most difficult to explain". I do believe in God, Jesus, Mother Mary and those who are Ascended Masters etc. We are here to realise "Our True Potential". We are Love, in human form. Jesus is the Template on which to base our earthly selves. We are here to learn I believe. My Soul is having a wonderful time in this endeavour.
