Descriptions:

In December 1943, personal George Ritchie died of pneumonia. Nine minutes later on, he returned to daily life. His experience will alter his daily life permanently, and his riveting tale is now specific in two consecutive publications: “RETURN FROM TOMORROW” and “My Lifestyle After Dying.”
Decades after its first publication, “My Everyday living Soon after Dying” had its title transformed to “Ordered to Return.”

RETURN FROM TOMORROW was very first released in 1978, “My Everyday living Immediately after Dying” in ’91, and “Ordered to Return” in ’98.

  1. After watching many video's on NDEs and listening to different professionals state their opinions, I feel a sense of obligation to finally share my experience, which, with the help of Hubble, has definitely been verified.

My NDE happened over 45 years ago, when I was struck by lightning while talking on the telephone in my living room. (It was discovered later that the lightning struck the pole containing the power and telephone lines that lead in ours and our neighbours house – any lights that were on in their house exploded from the force). According to several doctors at the hospital it was a miracle that I was not physically damaged in any way. When I was able to talk, I kept telling them about the beautiful light and the magnificent journey I had taken through the stars etc to meet it, but none could none could explain where I'd been. It was my home doctor who later suggested that I had possibly been momentarily dead. I described the unforgettable Light to many people in the years that followed – some seemed to understand but most thought it was just an illusion.

During the 80s and 90s a lot of doctors made comments on NDEs and described them as something programmed in the mind to take place during death to help people deal with the dying process. This came as a big disappointment to me, because my beautiful experience with the multi-coloured Light had taken away the fear of death and helped me to understand much more than anyone had ever taught me. I reluctantly began to accept the doctors explanations with deep regret, until one day in 2003, as I was glancing through a newspaper and came across a picture taken by Hubble of the Cone Nebula. The picture was in colour and instantly took my breath away – I begun to tremble and my head spun. It looked exactly like the Light that I'd visited in 1970 and had been describing to people ever since ( even today, it seems like I was there only a moment ago) It was the most beautiful experience of love and security, that even after all these years nothing compares. It felt like I'd found my way home after being lost in a scary jungle. Its multitude of vibrant colours all blended together in what seemed to be perfect harmony. Each of the colours seemed to be intelligent – it was as if they were alive and sending me a loving welcome. Then I was whisked backwards away just as quickly as I'd arrived. I burst back into the bubble that I'd burst out of before entering space and heading to the light. From then on, I begun to question everything that I'd been taught about God. It was as though something inside me had been switched on and it was very scary, as I was left with a huge void to fill with no knowledge of how to do so. I began searching for something with no idea of what it was – I went from one country to the next and, to add to my dilemma, I seemed to arrive just in time for a disaster, including revolutions, typhoons and earthquakes etc. There were so many times that I could have been killed like the many others around me that were. Then one day while I was napping in Hong Kong, I had a dream and in it was told that there was even more chaos to confront before my destiny would take me to a country, where I would meet my best friend (future friend that is) who would take me to the foot of a great pointed mountain. There I would find the truth I was searching for. I told friends about the dream, who laughed and joked about it – I also laughed with them.
Not long after 500 hundred people were killed by landslides all around me – an apartment building a couple of doors away from mine, fell over knocking the top 5 floors off the empty building being built beneath it – there were cries of horror and the smell of rotting bodies. I jumped on a plane and headed for Manila, arriving just in time for a record breaking flood and the revolution that ended Marcus ruling. I had to run for my life and leave all my belongings behind to get on a flight back to Hong Kong. By then I was drinking heavily and so depressed that I was even thinking of suicide. An agent was in Hong Kong looking for a replacement vocalist for an American band that were playing in a Tokyo club. Next thing I knew, I was in Japan trying my best to perform with a very wild heavy metal band (no easy task for a cabaret singer).
At the club I met someone who became the best mate that I'd ever had. He taught me to chant the words Nam-myoho-renge kyo and took me a beautiful temple at the foot of Mount Fuji (I knew right away that it was the pointed mountain that I'd been told about in my dream).
Like most religious groups do, the organisation promoting the chant, claimed to be the only one's right while all the others were wrong. The chant had an amazing effect on my daily life – it was like an awakening and somehow it connected me to the beautiful Light – there were even moments, while chanting, that I experienced some of the wonderment that I'd felt at the Light. I stuck with the organisation to learn as much as I could and then spent years trying to divide what the actual teaching was from the added politics of the organisation.
I eventually left the organisation and have since depended on my own volition to sort things out. In doing so, I have studied other beliefs and discovered that some of what they teach is almost the same as what Nichiren taught. The one thing that became more and more obvious to me was that the three major Laws of (Nature-Cause and Effect-Communication or oneness of past/present/future) represented by myoho-renge-kyo were the underlying fundamental Laws of everything, no-matter what we choose to believe or not. I also gained a better understanding of the teachings of Jesus (not by what was written about his lessons by his disciple's who all claimed not to even know him when he was arrested) but by the example that he set between the lines. He also taught Nature – Cause and Effect (reap what we sow) and prayer = communication. But the disciple's didn't get it right, even though when they asked where the Kingdom of God was and Jesus told them that it was within their own lives, they still thought God was a man in the sky.
I also got to understand that, take away all the added misconceptions, Buddha represented much the same as Jesus did. Scientists now say that our solar system was born out of a nebula – that physically everything, including ourselves, are made out of stardust and that energy never disappears or ends. Buddha taught that our body is a small planet, which relies on Earth's environment to exist, and that our life is a small universe that contains everything that exists, even though we are only awake to a very small part of it, we contain all of it within. Like Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is within (which means that's where God is also) Nichiren taught that Enlightenment (Buddha-hood) is within. He also taught that there are millions of worlds like ours with their own mountains, rivers and moons – and that there are also places that are wonderful far beyond our present comprehension to understand. In the physical sense they are scattered all over the universe – tn the spiritual sense they are all located within each of us. (one way to understand this is how TV works etc.) It doesn't matter how many TVs there are, they are all able to present the same thing if tuned in.
The one thing that confused me after seeing the pictures of Cone Nebular, taken by Hubble back in 2003, was how could I have possibly traveled that distance and back – even at the speed of light it would not have been possible. Yet, long before Hubble was even built, I described the nebular to so many people. It's only in the last few years that it has finally made sense to me. I went there and back within my own life-force – I traveled across the universe that each of us contain within – not physically but spiritually. I now know that NDEs are journeys we make beyond our physical/Earthly limitations, into our own unknown selves.
We are on a journey to within, to reach a point where we can understand life as it truly is and manifest the wisdom from within to comprehend the real meaning of 'God'. Below is a description from a book titled Ztingar that I believe is pretty close to what the reality of what many call 'God' might be….

    __________________________________________________
This incredible realisation has convinced Ztingar, once and
for all, that rather than being a separate entity that is forever watching down from the heavens high above, the true omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent identity of what most people call God is ‘Life Force’ and the fundamental essence of God is the tri–combination of the three major universal laws, that Gang–Gang has been talking about.

It’s often said that God is an invisible entity that can never be seen.
Thinking about this has Ztingar contemplating the vast amount of information that is constantly being conveyed via electromagnetic waves and he now sees it as being possible proof of how an invisible state of God could actually exist.

Everyone knows that certain data being relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinarily powerful effects——including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these waves can be used to help detonate a bomb or to even enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars etcetera. But none of this is possible unless the wavelengths being used are complimentary to a receiver at the other end that is switched on to detect the information being transmitted.

Without such a receiver all the information being sent would simply remain invisible and never be seen or heard. In a similar way, Ztingar can now see how important it is to have our inner self switched on in order to receive a clear and precise understanding of who we truly are, and what our and all other Life is really all about. He thinks this is how chanting the words Nam–myoho–renge–kyo might work. In other words, it’s not a magic wand, but like Gang–Gang said, it allows us to reach into the core of our enlightenment and switch it on.

During one of the lessons, Gang–Gang had explained that the only difference between a Buddha and a common mortal is that a Buddha has reached his or her enlightenment. Ztingar’s thoughts have done an about turn back to the ‘creation verses evolution’ controversy again. He now feels more certain than ever that they would both need to play an equal roll in Life, because he cannot conceive that our built–in ability to design, change and organise things and all the intelligence we naturally possess that allows us to realise and utilise everything, could possibly have ever come about simply by chance alone, any more than the workings of the universe could.

Regarding the whereabouts of Heaven and Hell, Ztingar has chosen to believe that rather than up in space or down beneath the ground, both exist within our own life in a similar way to how Gang–Gang had explained in his lecture on the Ten Worlds. The reason he’s come to this decision is that if you are not happy within yourself, there’s no way in the world you can possibly feel truly happy with things on the outside. Contrary to that, if you are happy and contented with yourself, you’re more likely to cope much better with your surroundings, even in situations that are not so favourable.

PS: There is always something new to discover that we need to achieve here on Earth. I was a huge meat eater until 5 years ago, when I watched a video on YouTube titled 'The Earthlings'. Seeing the cattle lined up for slaughtering, trying to resist going forward with tears running from their eyes in utter fear, was the final straw that made something snap inside me. It was – I believe – another step to progress towards my goal and reason for being on this Earth. I realised that I, like many other human's, hadn't even climbed from the mud, let alone blossomed. I now convinced that, until we realise and respect the fact that all sentient beings not only want to live but have a right to live – and that part of our journey is to reach an enlightened state of not killing and stealing other sentient beings to eat, we will remain in the mud and keep coming back to it. The indisputable fact is, it takes violence to kill an animal to eat and there is nothing good or Godly about the act of violence. Buddha taught that if the breadwinner is a thief then so too are all those who live off his/her earnings. In other words, even though we may not commit the actual act of killing, by eating meat we are part of the cause. As much as I loved meat, I have never eaten the flesh of any sentient being since 5 years and it feels so good – I'm so grateful that I was awakened in this life.

  2. If you want to view 150 authentic near-death experiences on YouTube, I have placed them into the following playlist which will automatically play one-by-one if you go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x53guiS7oe8&list=PLaOgXbrKlR18wO7HnEogf2uugRhS5LXOM . I find them very compelling videos! I have researched all the suggested causes of NDEs, including oxygen deprivation, ketamines, DMT, pilots in centrifuges, even Carl Sagan's suggestion of "birth memories" (tunnel=birth canal, white light=delivery room light)—and none of these come anywhere close to explaining the rich super-reality of ND experiences.

  3. As soon as the english is not my native language I have not quite understand what he exactly says…. Can anybody explain me? Did he mention he met the son of God? How does he know it was son of God? Which God? Which religion? Did he see a Christ like we saw him in films? Sorry, I am not going to believe it. sOrry.

  4. Jesus, the son of God? What kind of IQ I need to understand that?  I start to think that HELL has been created exclusively for Christians, by Christians, well, they are so infatuated with their own lies, that they deserve it!             This video is absolutely ridiculous, just designed to mislead you, this is the ''Christian faith'' at work! [guess who sponsored that video!?]

  5. Dr Ritchies insights are of great importance for they validate the premise that behind the scences in the timeless regions, the evolution of the individual&this planet is being guided by a higher power. For Dr Ritchie that took the form of JESUS.For the hindu it might be Krishna or Rama.
The bar he found himself in with deceased alcoholics,I have read in a similar book called Chants of a Lifetime by Krishna Das,but in his encounter he met a deceased crack addict lured to a location, person who was smoking crack. The city of light where loving souls go could just as easily been the realm of nirvana the Buddhist speak of ,sans the buildings.
    Truth will always confirm itself.
Dr Ritchie,s book i continue to give anonomously to used bookstores so others can receive a dose of his spiritual medicine.

  6. Author George Ritchie in his book "Return from Tomorrow" really started a research of many about what near death experiences were all about. Raymond Moody seemed to show an interest also and wrote about these experiences. George Richie did a very good job of describing what he saw on the other side. From the beginning of the experience, not knowing what happened to him to seeing himself in the bed. To seeing God and realms he want to. He discribes very vividly what happened to him all the way back to being revived from his death. I was riveted to all he had to say. What a blessing his book was and it had an impact on my life. I thank George for sharing what he saw on the other side.

  7. "Encounter with Christ"
None of the stuff he describes is mentioned in Christianity apart from a bright light. The way he describes Hell is actually just like the hungry ghost realm in Buddhism. I'm a Buddhist and I believe in it, although I'm not going to make assumptions because I'm not a food who believes everything he hears. I'm not going to say this is proof of what the historical Buddha taught, but it's certainly interesting to hear.

  8. I remember that, at a point in the book, he was so desperatelly on a hurry to catch the train that he suddenly perceived that he was running above the trees, while thinking to himself that maybe there was something wrong, but continued till he stopped at the city where the pub was, depicted on the video above, then he started to think ponder what was happening..
the video shows the pub at the street corner exactly as I imagined while reading the book some 10+ years ago.. amazing.

  9. I like these two NDE cases because you get to hear from the surgeons, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-91QXXsyEc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL1oDuvQR08

I like these two reincarnation stories from the 1980's. The first one is Nicola, a short video., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCcmr6UeNSY The second one is an experiment into reincarnation with witnesses and a proper investigation, the public didn't use the internet then until 1991, like everything the old ones are the best, the recollection of buildings, places, roads and events are incredible, remember they are in a different Country they haven't visited before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrXtkYV9sk8

With the 1000's of NDE and Reincarnation cases being reported the evidence of an afterlife seems to be growing, although if they kick me out of Heaven to come back to this planet they will have to drag me out kicking and screaming, lol, Enjoy the video's .

  10. Loved Dr. Ritchie. His story was so powerful and loving. I think he helped a lot of people want to stay on earth when they were at crossroads. Bless everyone who sees/reads this and know – because of two NDEs I had in early childhood, that ALL paths lead to our Creator. We are His beloved children. Anyone who believes in a deity that sends His children to fictive hell hasn't seen what's true.

  11. Jude

    Chapter 1

1Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

2Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.

3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

9Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

10But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

11Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

    12These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

13Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

    17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

22And of some have compassion, making a difference:

23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

  12. Psalms 27:1

(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

    Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

    John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    Romans 7:24

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
