WHAT IS AN NDE OR NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE? Researchers have identified that they NOT hallucinations and they are NOT induced by a dying mind. A near-death experience (NDE) is generally a profound, lifetime changing, intensely psychological experience that ordinarily takes place during a scientific crisis and has popular properties and aftereffects. It is not a desire, hallucination, or mental ailment (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to establish who will have an NDE. They occur to people today of all ages, religions, socio-financial groups, cultures, instructional backgrounds, and perception programs. They come about below a wide range of circumstances these types of as accidents, near-drownings, sicknesses, overcome, surgical treatments, and childbirth. Following an near-death, experiencers (NDErs) generally exhibit some widespread aftereffects. Research has proven a set of common near-death experience traits and long-expression aftereffects.

Common theories used to demonstrate near-death experiences have been tested insufficient by near-death experience scientists and many others. Research has demonstrated near-death experiences are NOT triggered by the next:

· Dying brain (e.g., the brain is hallucinating as cells start off to die)
· Deficiency of oxygen to the brain· By-product of mind conditions
· Medicine and neurochemical reactions in general· Hallucinations from altered blood fuel degrees (e.g., hypoxia or hypercapnia)
· Brain mechanisms built to make dying easier for human beings
· Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) becoming launched by the body

  2. This may well have been Dr Neal’s experience and how she lives her life now but it is totally devoid of explaining how or why we need to accept God and his purpose for our life. She mentions Jesus twice in almost superficial ways, the Bible once almost as an after thought. There is no mention at all of the whole crux of the Christian faith. No mention of sin, forgiveness, redemption, salvation, the cross, crucifixion, resurrection, the Holy Spirit or prayer. Indeed she has omitted the entire Christian faith and everything it and the bible stand for. If you seeking salvation and the promise of eternal life you will not find it here.

  3. Maybe each ‘race’ of humans see their own ‘messiah’ or god that looks similair to their kind, god just changes appearance so that we don’t glorify one kind of race or people as the ‘holy’ one.

  5. I have a few takes on Mary's experience. First, If we believe that Earthly Life is a necessary dimension for our Spiritual growth then it is absolutely true that God(Eternal Light) allows tremendous suffering and pain to exist because it has eternal benefits on a grander level. We kind of knew that but this proves it!! God (Eternal Light…) chooses not to interfere (many times). Pain and suffering are thus vital and nature's preferred way of truly teaching us. Ouch!. Mary says this is part of the journey. For the smile you gain knowing our consciousness survives mortal death we must accept, unfortunately temporary Suffering. Secondly, if Mary was told to come back because she had "more work to complete" then I am a little miffed that God would accept the soul of her 18 year old son who died from a car accident without return. Did he complete his life's mission at such a young age? Was the meaning of his life centered around an early death? Really? Maybe. And if she was told that her son would die young and she needed to return– are our lives already predetermined in some manner? I think NDE experiences answer the question of immortality but leaves us with questions about the joy and fulfillment we can experience here when Pain and Suffering are major learning tools for our soul's growth. Is it any wonder that so many people shun God. In fact, most who experience NDE's do not want to return. Life's a bitch I guess–let's all love each other and hope to God we can keep a smile on our faces until our souls separate from our bodies. Fascinating. Let's see what Pain and Suffering awaits us today. Neosporin please!

  6. I don’t know that I’ve ever heard Mary talk about the sinful condition of humanity, the need for repentance and forgiveness in order to have Christ as our Savior. Curious what she really believes about what the Bible has to say about that.

  7. Sometimes I’m skeptical about NDE stories because it seems the person just wants to sell a book. But, this NDE seems real. She was already very successful and busy in her life and had no need to just write a book for money. I believe her and this makes me so happy.

  8. Many who have had NDE’s recount encountering spiritual beings other than Jesus…It seems that these experiences are tailored to one’s experience, expectation or other factors in order to ease the transition and return home…

  9. I definitely can see the sincerity in her eyes. I think, perhaps, what is most concerning to me and others isn't necessarily that life goes on, but that life truly has meaning and purpose. Because, how much value can even eternal life have if it's meaningless and without purpose? If true, then all you would have is eternal meaninglessness, and that's worth zero. Thank you Mary Neal.

  10. You believe/fearful of Jesus? You'll see Jesus.
You believe/fearful of the Devil and Demons, You'll see Devils & Demons.
You believe in your family and loved ones. You'll see family and loved ones…don't matter what YOU believe in. LOVE is the rule in these NDE's. With YOUR free will, you can create anything YOU want!

  11. To be honest, this “I met Jesus” stuff confuses me.

How does one individual greet the many who pass at any one moment?

What happened to people who passed before there was a Jesus?

What about people who have never even heard of Jesus today?

Couldn’t it be that Jesus is a mode of representing the God- principle in a way we can understand, but isn’t actually a being? Maybe he is symbolic of God being made manifest, and therefore useful to us at this level of understanding.

If we were to discover that the historic human Jesus was married, or filled with human failings, or maybe his story is heavily fictionalized or badly told in the Gospels, wouldn’t we still find the loving God is the center and circumference of being?

Maybe Jesus is God’s avatar, and not an individual, personal being.
