Ghostchaser13, I am sorry for your loss. I lost my 13-year-old daughter to cancer in 1994 and it feels like yesterday to me. She was a beautiful, artistic, creative child.
The book is excellent. It is enlightening and comforting for me. It helps me connect with my daughter. I read in it stories over and over.
I really love the books. I don't have Healing Grief after Loss and I'm going to get that one. I have Growing up in Heaven. It is excellent.

I to lost a 5 year old daughter in 1972 June 14 for 3 days I had a peaceful feeling as though she was there next to me ! As the years passed by the feeling of emptiness in your soul and tremendous sadness and anger for me it took many years ! To Forgive!! It still hurts. But when I listen to videos like this one it only means their really is a reason for everything!!

I caught the scent of my Mother's perfume…an old formula no longer made anymore…..worn since she was a teenager till in her 90's…was alone in a retail store early one morning…..and BANG…..there it was and lingered for about 15 seconds…no mistake it was HER scent and then disappeared…NO one was around….it was her….and in the same store a while later…a man approached me and asked me a question…..his look was definately VERY similar to my 55 year old brother who passed of Leukemia…the voice was identical to his…..was disturbing at first then realized it had to be him…never saw him again……be open to your loved ones!

Wow. I held my 7yo daughter, 2 yrs ago, as she died from cancer and I felt her spirit leave, then it was such a calm feeling in the room after. I have felt her a few times since then as well.
When you are talking about the difference between soul and spirit it actually explains what my granny meant before she passed. You see she died and after some time she came to and said to the nurse she came back to tell her children that god exists. She was with us for another seven days. In that time she said to my mother not to worry, that noone in our family will bare that same burden ever more because she completed it. Your childern, she said, will not have to endure it.. it's gone, i paid it off entirely. Now i get what she meant. On the soul level, a huge lesson had been transcended, and she was the last incarnated to complete it. Just to explain, she spent her last few years confined to bed, enduring discomfort and pain. After the funeral she contacted my mother in the form of a ball of light which was changing colour and jumping on the wall, she also made sounds of how she used to walk.. my awesome granny. I can't wait to meet her again. I wish i could have spent more time with her when she was alive. I miss her
This is hard to comprehend, but I read something about this in another book I believe? I am not completely sure where I read or have heard it, or where the info came from. What I do know, is losing a child is brutal, and I AM glad that towards the end of the video, you really did put emphasis on that fact for some of us who are trying to figure out "what's next"? and how to survive this. Plus missing our child and trying to "sense" them and know when they are around us. That is why I watched this video. It was good info. Something to tuck away, for when my mind is ready to absorb the info that I can't process.
I had lost a grandson 4 years ago at 4-1/2 months to SIDS and have just found out that I will be losing another grandson who is currently 20 months old to Darvet syndrome which is an incurable neurologic disease that affects children from about 4 months old and they do not survive it. They usually die as young children rarely entering their teens. So, this video is a great source of comfort to me as I now know that both of my grandsons are/will be safe and happy in the spirit world. Thank you, James!
As a mother who lost a son at full term (stillbirth) it was, to say the least, devastating. His loss affected us both very differently, for my husband life went on in hindsight he internalised his feelings. I did suffer depression and reached a point I didn't want to be here. We had a daughter who was 2years at the time. I had a sister that was going to have an abortion 2 months prior that I & my brother talked her out of, we had agreed I would raise her baby with our son as they were a couple of months apart due date. After our son passed my sister told me she had changed her mind and wanted to keep her baby. I now see that she realised the value of her son after seeing me lose mine. I've learnt more empathy for others and work in Social Services. I don't go to the cemetery as much I don't believe my son is there why would anyone die to be confined to a cemetery? Long story short 6 years later we had another son and a year after him a daughter. I do believe that the soul continues to thrive after this physical life. I talk to my Father and mum a lot and Joel who seems to have attached himself to my older daughter when I had a reading he told me things that Joel told him about everyday things that stand out in regards to my older daughter and said he is always watching over us. While watching this video I started cleaning the lounge floor and found a coin on the floor I thought of my son, then when I turned back in the same spot was another coin and automatically what came to me was my father inlaw who shares my sons name and passed 2 months ago. Yes, I had a cry, but tears of joy, I know they are together, thank you Spirit.

I fell in love with my son when he was in my womb. He lived for 6 days and then transitioned. I grieved heavily for 40+ years in spite of my knowing he is near me always. I never had the chance to hold him, my heart and arms still long to. My only comfort is my knowing one day I will be able to.
