My childhood NDE was pushed back into my mind after I tried to tell my brother and sister about it and they thought it was funny. I was an older adult when I recalled it. My brother and mother had already passed.

I too lost my brother over 15 years ago, it was devastating but he showed me we do continue on and unconditional love is all.
He would visit me in my dreams causing lucidity. He began visiting me as I laid down and id experience what some call sleep paralysis. I was scared but I missed him so much so I was willing to take the scary sensations and sounds just to hear his voice.
I learned this wasn't sleep paralysis but a conscious astral projection. I learned as much as I could, and learned to meditate. I was shown signs that noone else could understand, that validated I was on the right path, and no matter what push forward. I learned to induce astral projections or out of body experiences. While out I looked everywhere for him! He would still visit but only when he felt like it. lol Or give me beautiful dreams where he could explain why he had to leave here, often confronting me about things I'd say out of frustration.
One day I realized, I needed to let his soul go and let him continue, as my heart break made it hard to leave me.
Before he reincarnated he told me he was coming back to visit and to expect him around Christmas time.
I know who he is now, even though his body is only two he remembers me and parts of who he was last time.
Sadly since he 'opted out' last time he was born into the same family trouble and struggles he had attempted to escape from. We're not allowed to opt out, if you do, you will likely repeat your life in another body with different family ties. Same situations and struggles he must overcome. Hopefully he can complete this cycle this time.
Suicide doesn't lead to an eternal hell fire, it leads back here. yikes

This is a little hard to believe that a 3 year old would even understand that he could have a son, thats a little iffy in my opinion.

Inconsistent.. you say you forgot the experience then later you say you recalled it for a few years then the memory of it faded .. which is it?
